1 star is really to high, Vinegar and beef

This has to be the most disgusting piece of meat I have ever tasted in my life. We all threw ours out and the huge chunk that was left. $76 dollar piece of meat, in the trash ........I actually feel ill thinking about the flavor ( that would be vinegar and pepper but mostly vinegar ) Honestly it was super tender, but I am not sure how anyone could get past the vinegar flavor though. The few pieces I tried to eat hoping it would somehow get better are making nauseous. For the price you can buy a raw Prime rib and throw it in the oven yourself same amount of work and have a far superior meal. I am not sure how this thing has so many good reviews, It is by far the worst thing I have ever tasted. My son said it tasted like hot dogs and now hotdogs are ruined for me. I make prime rib all the time I am not sure what possessed me to purchase this pre cooked thing.

Prime Rib

I bought 9 packages of the precooked prime rib for catering. They were over cooked this year, meat was not seasoned properly and hardly any au jus in package. I prepared my own au jus and horseradish sauce. Portions were tough. Last years product was so much better. $$$

Good as most restaurants

We served this for Christmas dinner. It was slowly heated at 275 degrees in the oven for about 90 min. Interior was pink & juicy. End cuts- medium/well, perfect for all preferences. Plenty for 5 hungry adults & 2 kids. Also had enough for a meal the next day. This is much easier than a turkey. Serve with baked potato, raw carrots, bagged salad. Easy, cost effective meal. I am buying another to slice and (vacuum) seal for the future.

Great Christmas Eve dinner

I was unsure about this, but tried it. I heated it to medium rare. At 275 degrees, it wasn't going to be done in time, so I put it up to 350 degrees on the top rack of the oven for the last 30 min. I liked this because it cooked the outside of the rib more. A dinner party of 7 adults (who are picky about quality food) loved it. I'll definitely buy this item again.

Precooked to much :(

Bought one of your cooked prime ribs for Christmas dinner we had with our family. Normally we get one from GFS but yours was recommended by a friend. We used a meat thermometer and cooked it to 125° for rare. Unfortunately I believe it had been precooked to a much higher temperature and was more like medium to medium well all the way through and dry. Was very disappointed. We served it to a large crowd and unfortunately don't have any to return but just wanted to let you know about this. Paid $82 for this and would expect a much better quality.
