We Love This TV

We currently own a number of Philips products. This TV is the latest addition to our collection. Very easy to set-up and start watching. The entire process (from opening the box to fully operational) took less than 15 minutes. The Roku Entertainment System is so easy to master. Through Roku, this TV was immediately synced up with our other Roku devices (no need to re-enter or download any additional information). QLED provides a superior picture quality. Great for sports, movies and cartoons. The entire family loves this new TV. Would highly recommend it.

One Of The Best TV's On The Market!

Was looking for a replacement TV after my Samsung messed up and The Philips QLED caught my eye. Chose to end up getting it for the great quality and good price. So far the TV hasn't had any problems and the quality and sound has been amazing. Would definitely buy from Philips again!

Great features and picture quality

Set-up this TV last week in our bedroom. It was easy to unpack. I suggest the user wears gloves to avoid getting fingerprints on the screen when initially unwrapping the TV from the inner packaging. During set-up I had to create a free account on Roku which was easy. It asked me what apps I wanted to add to the TV. Screen prompts on the TV made initial set-up easy once I entered various passwords for my wi-fi and streaming services. Since I was using an antenna and not a cable box it took a few minutes for the TV to scan for channels. It picked up all the same channels I was watching on my previous TV. Once the TV was set-up and I was on the main menu screen, it took me a moment to select my favorite channels via antenna and Roku TV service. I noticed that the remote does not have numbered keys which I was used to from past TVs. But it was not a problem once I figured out how to access the Live TV menu. And the remote is smaller as a result. Easy to scroll through the channels and pick what I wanted to watch. The TV screen is very thin as well as the borders around the viewing portion of the screen. Like it as it provides more viewing area for the size of the TV. The picture is bright and clear on both live and streaming channels. Didn't notice any difference with the picture quality or viewability when the blinds and were open with lots of sunlight or closed. There was no to very little lag time when switching between streaming services, which I like. Only minor glitch I noticed was once when I turned the TV on, it showed the incorrect time. Once I hit the menu button the TV quickly corrected itself to the right time. Hasn't happened again. Overall, I would recommend this TV. The 50" is perfect for our bedroom.

Better than Promised;SMARTEST Smart TV I've bought

I purchased this online; was delivered by Fedex (Sam's normal transport). I'm 65 yrs. old so I had help with getting it positioned high up on my entertainment center ....but I connected all cables myself, including the DISH Satellite HD cable....and Vizio Surround Sound HD cable....and my Sony DVD player HD cable (who has DVD players anymore? hahahaha). I did the "auto setup" which tried to guide me; mostly it was very intuitive so it's all good. It even picked up on the Surround Sound Bar and I didn't have to go to TV Settings to turn OFF the TV Speakers (most times you need to). Very intuitive smart TV. I give it a thumbs up. I'm not using the Roku yet (have the Dish service now) BUt it is also SET UP and ready to go when I want to. I'll cut the DISH off when contract ends. ENJOY!

TRULY DISAPPOINTED

It's exactly 3 years old. Now there is a 4 inch wide gray vertical stripe down the left side on the screen. It shuts down without warning, usually when my team is just about to score. It disconnects from wifi without warning and WILL NOT RECONNECT unless you unplug the TV. TRULY DISAPPOINTED
