I was able to use it on paper, card stock, construction paper, tissue paper, tape, laminate and Velcro. After using with Velcro and thick gorilla tape it did require for it to be cleaned and resharpened.

They are easy to use for many cutting tasks. I recently used them to make Christmas ornaments with my granddaughter. The blades are a great length. And the thumb hole is perfect.
