We always expect consumers will get the longest possible scent-experience when using Downy UNSTOPABLES Fresh In-Wash Scent Booster Beads, Steven, so what you’re describing isn’t expected. Our Quality Team shares that every package of Scent Beads imparts fragrance that lasts for weeks and weeks. Be sure that you’re adding the Scent Beads to your washer as directed. Be sure you add the beads directly into the drum of the washing machine before clothes, and use the following amounts as a general guide for freshness: small loads, measure to the first dosing line; medium loads, measure to the second dosing line, and large loads use a full cap. We're sorry to hear this, Windy and want to assure you that we have many quality checks to ensure you're left with a wonderful lingering scent. The amount of beads used per load can be adjusted to meet individual choice of the amount of scent desired. Larger loads need more beads than small loads to deliver the desired amount of scent. Super high temps and/or super long dry times in tumble dryers may zap some of the perfume, so we'd simply suggest using lower heat and shorter dry times if possible.
