I think the scent can be a bit strong so I use half of what is recommended. Love using this for sheets and blankets that are in the closet for extended time. It keeps them smelling fresh.

Only complaint is that when used on lighter colored fabrics it may leave grease looking spots that take an extra wash or two to get out.

As much as I already enjoy the smell of fresh laundry, these scent beads have taken my clothes game to a whole new level. Not only does it come out of the laundry smelling great, but it seems to last the whole day of wearing the clothes, not just when they first come out. It's a light scent that is not too perfumey, making it perfect not just for my clothes but for those of my husband as well.

I like that it makes washing clothes a better experience. Love how a bunch of teenagers’ socks go in the washer and come out so fresh. It is safe for all colors and fabrics. I'll probably switch off between the two cause you really can't go wrong with any Downey scent. Clothes smell great!

It has a nice fragrance to your clothes after washing however I did notice some spots on shirts from product lying on shirt in wash. I recommend adding with laundry detergent then letting them desolve before adding clothes to washer. It only takes a small amount for clothes to come out smell fresh and clean.
