Several reviews complained of the smell, however I suspect those people are not used to cooking with ground turkey. I use this brand of turkey (93% lean) all the time. As long as you are using the unopened package by the expiration date, there should be no issues with its safety. I buy in bulk and keep it in the freezer. Ground turkey is a delicious substitute for ground beef and I use it in everything from spaghetti meat sauce to Spicy ground turkey burgers. We love it!

I just found bones in the turkey sausage. I made them aware of the situation and they mailed a few coupons. I bought ground turkey with them. First package I opened today and made turkey burgers with had a big piece of bone in it. Someone in quality control needs to pay attention.
