I bought this weight bench 11 years ago from academy sports and used the heck out of it! Its a GREAT investment for beginners and avid lifters alike.! Its incredibly sturdy and durable. I bought it in 2007 because i wanted to pack on a lot of muscle. I still use it when i dont feel like going to gym. After 11 years of use, only the seat and adjustable cross bar are in need of being replaced. Which is why im buyimg a NEW one and selling the old.

I read the reviews before purchasing this bench. They were pretty accurate. I would give it 4.5 stars but the rating system does not give half stars. I wanted a black weight bench. Looking at the pictures this bench looked like a flat black but it is actually grey and the part you lay on is black. I might spray paint it flat black at a later date. I wanted a full back support Olympic weight bench to support my weight and not rock side to side when in use. This bench does not have the full back support but to my amazement it is very sturdy. No rocking or wobbling at all. So for the money this is a good quality bench. I assembled the bench by myself but it is better if you have help. I took me about 3 hours to put it together. It looks overwhelming at first but it is not that bad. The assembly of the leg left area gave me some problems but I worked through it. The original Olympic bench I wanted was $500 and was just the bench. So I save a lot of money and got some extra attachments. So over all I am pleased just wish it was black to match my man cave area.

I'm impressed with the product quality considering the cost. It is well worth the money. I also purchased the 110 lb Olympic weight set at the local Walmart that came with the 7 foot 30lb Olympic bar. It's a perfect fit for this bench. I had no problems putting this together. Simply lay all the parts out and you can easily identify them for assembly. Took about a hour and a half . There was a couple of pieces that I did need another person to help with. That was just to align some pieces together so one could align up bolts and washers. Not a big deal at all.

I have been using commercial exercise equipment for years and so its not fair to rate this compared to them. So far I have liked this for home use. I would have to say though I am 5 feet 11 inches tall and if you are much taller than that this bench may not fit you well? I have also been a welder fabricator and machinist for years so as far as the construction of this bench it is pretty good but could be better with some changes. The only thing at this point one thing I have noticed is the welds are not the best. Other than that I am pretty much happy with my purchase.

I got this bench last week and just put it up yesterday due to a knee injury but i have put it all together and tested it out and it is a great bench for the price and what it came with...My box was in good condition unlike like other people said...It took me 5+ hours maybe 4, all by myself and i would not recommend doing this by yourself, i got things backwards and all mixed up and so i had to undo a few things and had to use my leg as a second man to hold some things which my back hurt the next day, also i didn't read the instruction so that would have helped just looked at the picture telling what goes were...The seat is a little wobbly because it can adjust moving forward or backward but were your back rest is as solid as a rock...People said that the squat rack was to high for a 5'6 or something and im 5'7 and it is perfect...I also like the bench spotter catcher for the bench due to the fact i bench alone so it helped to find out my max bench and now i dont have to hold back...I would recommend buying a 7' bar i think a 6' would not fit, if your interested in lifting at home i recommend the bench...

Product showed up to store on time. Store pick up left little to be desired. I put entire bench together in about 1 hour 45 mins. Very nice unit and well worth what I paid. Could not even come close to quality versus cost at Play it Again.

This is a decent bench for the money. The leg pads are the cheap firm foam and a bit uncomfortable. The seat is pretty wobbly. Other than that, it's sturdier/beefier than I expected.

Bought for my 14 year old son, who said he wanted to work out. Like the versatility. Good bench - no issues. Now if it could help him to follow through on his commitment to work out...

For the price its a good and sturdy unit. However, after using for a few weeks I think it would be more useful to have a separate weight bench and squat rack. Unfortunately that model was not available at time of my purchase.

Well constructed bench, great attention to detail on the design as well as manufacturing. Packaging protected the product very well. Simple instructions with all hardware easily laid out for the user to see in the assembly instructions.
