This is the best sourdough available - no other brand comes close. It actually has a tang like the sourdough you can get on Fisherman's Wharf in SF. Other sourdough is bland in comparison. This brand makes rolls also but, unfortunately, Walmart doesn't carry those.

Sacramento sourdough makes the best bread. It has a great texture and is not super dry like a lot of sourdough breads. I really appreciate that Walmart carries this locally made product.

I love the taste of the Sacramento Sour Dough Company Bread. Sometimes it is hard to find so when I go to Sam’s Club I pick up extra and keep it in the freezer.

It seems Sacramento Baking Co has recently changed its Sourdough bread recipe. We have enjoyed this bread for a few years, buy it especially because there is no added sugar and it was also good. However, these past few months it is not the same. There are a lot of big air holes in it as you move toward center of loaf and it does not toast the same. Used to be you could make buttered toast with it and it was soft and chewy. Now, buttered toast acts like stale toast right away, crumbly and crisp. We are seeking a replacement.

Usually, my family will eat this brand of sourdough bread really fast. Not this stuff it is too dense and it leaves me very dissatisfied.
