Quiet and Durable

These were replacement tires for my Honda CRV. The first thing I noticed was how much quieter than my previous tires, which came with very high ratings. I have had these on my CRV for over 40K, and they still have considerable tread left. They are comfortable, have very good grip in wet weather, and are reasonably good in snow. I would not only recommend these tires, but will buy again when I need tires again.

Poor performance

I have 2016 c300 Mercedes, I live in suburban and only drove 21k and went for annual inspections , the report came back as was “ I need two new tires in the rear , there is severe inside wear. Use extreme caution in ALL conditions.” Replaced now. I think there must be a defect in this models . This is ridiculous, I hardly drive this car.

Too hyped Too little return on investment

Awd. Hemi. Rotated on tire consistently but with 20k on them, they are at 4/32nds and now handle rain and snow like garbage! My review ratings are from when they were new. They are terrible now when the roads aren't dry. Had to bite the bullet and buy four new tires- losing my pro-rate money because I can't keep the car on the road in bad weather! I was driving on a slushy turnpike and at every corner while driving less than 50mph, I would consistently lose my steering and start to plow straight in turns! I was approaching a red light recently on a flat, snow covered road and while driving less than 30mph, with substantial stop distance I couldn't get the car stopped. I ended up 5' into cross traffic by the time I could get the car stopped. This was standard powdered snow. Honestly, the dry cornering since new is basically just satisfactory. I was never impressed when trying to push my car a little in dry turns. I will never buy them again unless I suddenly live in a dry climate. Pennsylvania isn't that.

Great Handling, Tread wears a bit too fast

I bought a 2018 Honda Accord Touring new with these tires. I drive pretty tame in Kansas...flat...no curves. I do a lot of gentle engine breaking and with a CVT there isn't much exciting about 0-60, so these tires live a boring life. The car lives in a garage too at night. I got about 35,000 on the original set and decided to replace with the same tire. I am at 68,000 and it appears I am about 4-5k miles from a third set. I used to run Goodyear Assurance Comfortred's and get the advertised mileage (80k) in older Accords when I used to travel highways all the time. I think 45-50k would be realistic on these tires. 35k just seems low. Also, once you get down to about 4-5mm of tread depth, the noise really picks up.

waldo49, the Primacy MXM4 tires have a 55k limited treadwear warranty on them. We suggest that you return to the selling retailer for a warranty claim. Should there be any questions, you are welcome to call us at 866-866-6605 from the retailers store.

Quiet & Comfy

I got these tires for a Honda accord and was so impressed with them. I remember telling my wife it reminded me of my 3 series because they were so nice in the corners but so quiet on the road, which is very important to me because in the Midwest the roads are noisy and I am on the phone a lot. The reviews between these and the Goodyear tires were close, but to me I have had pilots and F1's on my sports cars and the pilots were so much quieter with better grip it was a no brainier fr me.

Michelins YES - run flats NO

My wife's 2009 Jetta Sportwagen TDI needed new tires at 50,000 miles so I purchased a set of P225/45R-17 Michelin Primacy MXM4 ZP Run Flats. I have a pretty well equipped shop and the first thing I noticed was that my tire changer would not handle the stiff sidewalls of the run flats. No great problem and I had expected that I might have difficulty mounting them. After running the tires for about 1000 miles I can say that the ride is very smooth, smoother than I had expected with the stiffer sidewalls. My only complaint is that the mileage has decreased from 44 mpg to around 41 mpg. I have been a Michelin user since the early 60's and this is the first disappointment I have had with any Michelin tires. I will buy Michelins again, but not run flats.

GREAT TIRE!!!!

I have had the Primacy tires on my cadillas CTS for about a month now and I absolutely LOVE them. I feel like I have a brand new car. I debated on whether or not to stay with the Original Equipment Pilot tire and decided to try the Primacy and I am very pleased. Super smooth ride, great handling and better gas mileage so far for me. I liked the Pilot's and got 65000 miles out of them and so far I like the Primacy's better and sure hope to get a lot of miles out of them also.

Sjcoelho

I put them on my 2009 V.W Jetta TDI, and I noticed a huge improvement form my MXV4 S8 factory tires. Performance being number one then fuel economy bumped up 4.5 miles per gallon. the ride is out of this world as far as quite, the roads around these parts are as rough as the people who drive on them and I wouldn't ride on any thing but a Michelin. All my cars have summer and winter Michelin Tires.

Quiet and Well Built Tire

These are the OEM tires on the Tesla Model 3 Base with 18" wheels. I put 43,569 miles on the original tires before replacing them with the same ones. I am impressed with how quiet this tire is. The handling has been nothing but pleasant but full disclosure, I am an easy going driver, not so much aggressive to test the full potential of this tire.

Premium tires that perform. Worth it!

We were not able to find the replacement tires for our "Pilot MXM4" OEM tires that were on the vehicle when it was new. With 60K miles we were getting a little low on tread . We found the Primacy model tire and were pleased with it's similarities to the Pilot tire. It has so far delivered great handling in wet or dry, a quiet ride, and a great tread wear promise. I believe with the 3K miles so far, that we will be as pleased with the Primacy as we were with the original Pilot tires.
