[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great tires!! They work perfectly for any surface, mud, rainy, gravel, etc. The tires fit like a glove and when you drive it feels smooth and easy to drive with. I have no complaints at all. I would totally recommend.

I've run through two sets of the original Defender LTX M/S, and they were nice and smooth. No problems. Now that they're discontinued, went with the M/S2. Two had to be replaced for high road force. They do NOT ride as smooth as the originals. Bounce and shudder. Very disappointed.

I bought my 2nd set of Michelin Defenders after going 86,676mi on the first set. I never bought Michelin tires until I bought my first set of Defenders. I probably could have driven another 5k-7kmi but I noticed that traction wasn't that good in the rain with 86k plus miles. Very impressed with these tires quietness, longevity, and performance. When it's time to ditch the 2nd set of Defenders, I will definitely be buying a 3rd time.

This is a nice truck tire, but it is a truck tire. I can feel every bump and seam on the highway. It's noisy and unrefined, so I suppose this is a truck tire. I puchased a set for a 2018 Lincoln Navigator and the tires removed the luxury aspect of the vehicle. Thanks to Michelin's ride satisfaction promise, I was able to exchange the Defender LTX M/S2 for a set of CrossClimate2 SUV tires. The ride quality and noise is like night and day. Moving from a Highway All-Season (LTX) to a Grand Touring AS (CrossClimate) was the answer. I would not buy the LTX again for a luxury vehicle.

for me your sure with Michelin , the durability is 120,000 km for sure if you perform tire rotation ,on a regular base , handling is very nice , no road noise at ALL. traction good year a round , performance better on fuel by 1.5 liter to / 100 km, use less

The tires were offered for a fair price, which included a military discount. I am very satisfied with the tire's performance and handling. I have only had them for a few months, but have taken a few multi-state trips and the tires handled great on the Interstates.

I purchased these tires after 6 years and 30k miles on my Michelin Defender LTX M/S. I was a little leery with the UTQG Traction rating dropping to B from the previous A but with tread life listed similarly and great previous performance, I gave them a shot. I've driven 2,500 miles before posting the review. The M/S2 are fantastic on dry pavement and dissipate water very well. Unfortunately, around 35 F they become noticeably harder and break free much easier on cold or wet pavement compared to the previous M/S. With that, my initial assumption is that they have worse performance but herein lies the paradox. While they don't seem great getting moving and break free easy on acceleration, they seem hold true and stop well once in motion. Snow performance is similar to the aforementioned, but again cornering is fairly steady until acceleration is applied. The truck will still go where it's intended, but with considerably more wheel spin than the previous M/S in 2H. MPG appears to be comparable between the 113T SL M/S and 117T XL M/S2. Both ride quiet and have good feel when braking. They have a good look but not overly aggressive and don't pick up too many rocks. I would 100% recommend these for those who rarely experience snow or cold but would probably stick to swapping these out for Michelin Ice X for the cooler or snow filled months or plan to use full time AWD and the possibility of reduced tread life due to the additional slipping.

I HAVE BEEN A MICHELIN CUSTOMER FOR YEARS AND HAVE HAD MANY SETS OF DEFENDER LTX TIRES . ALWAYS PLEASED WITH THE RIDE AND COMFORT OF THE TIRES. THIS IS MY FIRST SET OF DEFENDER LTX M/S 2'S. TIRES CAN'T BE BALANCED AND LOPE WHEN DRIVING. DEALER HAS SAID THERE IS NOTHING ELSE THEY CAN DO. IF I CAN'T GET ANY RESOLUTION FROM MICHELIN I WILL TAKE THEM OFF AFTER ONLY 5000 MILES OF USE AND SWITCH TO COOPER. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THESE NEW 2 SERIES TIRES. HELP MICHELIN AS I HAVE BEEN A LOYAL CUSTOMER FOR DECADES.

These Defenders LTX tires are being replaced at 30k miles vs the 60k they claim to last. Rotations every 10k miles for the life of the tire. Will not buy again. Bought new tires for a new business and a different brand. Will never buy this manufacturer again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got this these tires and put them on my husband’s truck last month. The tires were quiet and smooth on the road, and even on gravel/dirt. We took them out in the rain, and had no problems. Haven’t had them long enough to inspect any tread-related issues, but confident the tread will hold up over time based on the quality material construction. .
