I was recently diagnosed with a gluten intolerance and have been floundering around trying to figure it all out. I picked up a box of this cornbread mix hoping it would be acceptable. It is way more than that. This is, hands down, the very best cornbread mix i have ever eaten, even compared to non gluten free. I am so grateful!

I make a mean cornbread myself, but since going gluten free 7 yrs ago, I do take shortcuts. Krusteaz has got their gluten-free line down to a T! I recently reviewed the crumb cake, which by the way is delicious, the cornbread does not disappoint. I also make this in my cast-iron skillet. Everyone likes this cornbread, and I mean everyone. It can be stored in the frig for days. Perfect alone, my husband eats it as a desert!

I love this gluten free honey cornbread recipe. I especially like that there is no tapioca which I also am sensitve to, and which most gluten free baked goods and mixes contain. I have used the mix to make pumpkin spice muffins with raisins and nuts, also have added lemon zest and blueberries for great blueberry muffins. Once even added coffee and chocolate chips for a mocha muffin version!

Just recently started going gluten free and I was hesitant about trying this cornbread at first. I must say that I think this cornbread will be the reason that I will enjoy being gluten free because it was very very good! And that’s coming from a Cajun/Louisiana native.

We love Krusteaz Gluten Free Honey Cornbread! I usually make my cornbread from scratch because I know that it is truly gluten free, but for a quick treat I will whip up a box of Krusteaz and my family goes nuts. They love it because it tastes like another boxed cornbread that is sweet BUT I cannot eat the other one. We love a number of Krusteaz products. They are all worth purchasing.

Products themselves are good and a decent price compared to many stores near me. My issue is with the packaging for this product and how it was shipped. The outside box was torn and falling apart. The cornbread boxes were smashed and one of the 3 was leaking the mix/powder from the bag.

I have tried most of the gluten-free cornbread mixes and I think that this is by far the best. It is moist and sweet and has no rice-flour flavor. It's the only one I buy now. All of the Krusteaz gluten free products are great. They are just sometimes hard to find.

This is my favorite gluten-free cornbread and is one of the few that accommodate both my wheat and potato allergies. My gluten family enjoys it. Also, I thought I would have enough left over for me to take home after a recent church function--but the children ate it all up.The honey gives it a sweet flavor.
