Thicker slices (not a fan crunchy meat) and not Extra lean. I prefer thin sliced.

The product comes in a two pack. The first pack was ok, but not as good as Smithfield or Plumrose that was previously available. The other pack had so much grizzle and fat in the center. It was so hard. It couldn’t be eaten. By the time you cut it out, there was about a third of a slice left. I can’t believe Sams would carry this. Much less put the Members Mark name on it.

We bought many brands of this rectangle sandwich ham and found them to be pretty much identical. All good. Except Member's Mark...aka Smithfield. It's rubbery and lacking that rich flavor of other brands like DAK or Farmer John just a couple examples. It even looks different. I hope Sam's dumps it for another brand as their main competitor did. Won't buy it again no matter the price.
