TERRIBLE TIRE

Terrible tread, noone wants to help with warranty. These came with my 2021 ford explorer .Michelin Primacy A/S are supposed to have a 55,000 mile warrant2. With 29000 miles on the car I took them to the dealer and they measured the tread depth. There is 3/32 tire tread left and are essentially bald. Terrible. Michelin used to be the best of the best, but they are no longer. Had to pay to replace all 4 and noone wants to assist with a warranty says Michelin is the worst to stand behind their warranties.

AG731, we're sorry to read of this. I see that you have contacted us previously and we explained that we'd need an inspection of the tires in question. To date, we have not received that information.

Great tires

I bought my car in 2020 brand new and this is the first time I have changed these tires. The primacy tour were the tires that were on the car and I was so happy to get them again. I would recommend these tires to everyone with the nitrogen and not just air as for some reason the nitrogen makes your tires last longer. Thank you Michelin for a great tire.

Sidewall Blowouts After 2 years and 20K Miles.....

These awful tires came with my new 2022 Rav4 Hybrid. I had no tread problems but as others detail, after 20K miles and being 2 years old I had a front tire sidewall blowout on the highway. Upon inspection the other tires either had cuts or cracks in the sidewalls. Not only are they cheap but they're down right dangerous. It turned out to be a Godsend because the new tires handle soooo much better! I didn't realize how bad they handled and how noisy they were until I got the new ones!!! ** If you have these tires make sure that you inspect the sidewalls monthly**

66,000 miles and going!

These tires came OEM on my 2022 Toyota RAV4 hybrid XSE. I have driven from Atlanta to Dallas to Pittsburgh and everywhere in between on these tires putting more than 30,000 mi a year on them. I've rotated them every 5,000 mi and balanced them every 10,000 mi with an alignment at 30,000 mi. The traction, ride and longevity have been exceptional! At my 65,000 mi service the Toyota dealership said the tread is now down to 5/32 and I'll need to get a new set when I come in for the $70,000 mi service. Definitely getting a Michelin tire for round two.

AVOID PRIMACY MXM4 A/S -- horrible tires

I bought Primacy mxm4 earlier in DEc. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE -- AVOID THEM! They are LOUD, hard, very low rolling resistance which leads to a feeling of no/low performance, no grip, etc. I wapped them for Pilot Sport 4 all season, which is a ZR rated tire. Feel and preformance on those are better, but the Pilot Sport is LOUD, too - just not as loud as these utterly miserable Primacy mxm4. I am surprised that Michelin even offers these horrible tires. Not in any way like the wonderful Michelin tires of yesteryear, upon which the Company built its previously well-earned reputation

LEAKY TIRE

We bought a new 2024 Toyota COROLLA CROSS LE AWD on April 18, 2024 from the Toyota dealer in Victoria. We have driven this new car less than 2,500 km so far (up to end of March 2025) and one of the tires (1B9 22 031X 0324) pressure warning sign keep on coming up even we have pumped up to full pressure of 33psi but the sign will come up again after one shot trip to the town(about 15 min drive). I had the same experience before with my previous new 2016 Toyota RAV 4 Hybrid that I had to replace one of the Michelin tires within one year of little driving milage. in my previous case the dealer said that tire is non-repairable and I had to buy a new tire for the RAV 4. therefore my question is all Michelin tires are non-repairable when theres a flat?

Bad Quality Tires

I go these tires with my New RAV 4 SE, Such bad quality tires. OnE of the front Tires is Flat within 2 Months and cannot be repaired due to some foam lining inside the tire. I will never suggest these tires to anyone. Now I have three of these new tires and I am stuck buying a new one to match the remaining three.

EVEN GREAT BRANDS HAVE A CRAPPY MODEL. MEET MICH'S...

These were the OEM tires to my 2020 Ford Explorer Limited. Michelin is a brand that one time had my ultimate confidence and trust. If my vehicle had Michelin tires, I was not concerned. This is no longer the case. At 40,000 miles, I grew very concerned about the tread life left on the tires. While the tire LOOKED shiny-new from a distance, upon close review, I have seen some SCARY things. One tire even seems to have tiny pinholes in the sidewall, like someone took a stamp and pressed into the side of the tire. They just don't appear to hold up over time and it made for an extremely tense trip on the road this past weekend. In 110-degree temps, with tire remnants on the sides of the road as a perpetual reminder to you of blowouts that have recently occurred, this was the most unnerved my tires have ever made me while on a trip and I have BEEN through multiple blowouts, but that was with cheap tires on bad cars. This time, I was literally thinking, "is this the trip where I die because I didn't buy new tires???" Ugh! Anyway, I thought it was me, until I realized that so many have experienced this as a crappy model tire in an otherwise highly rated brand. Michelin has a long way to go to earn back my confidence after subjecting me to the "Cadillac Cimarron" of their tires.

These worked well for me on a Rav4 Hybrid!

Bought these to replace the OEM Dunlop tires that were showing cord at 30k miles. The Michelins are a LOT quieter and ride nicer. The only down side and why only 4 stars was the MPGs took a near 10% hit as I now am only seeing 40-41 MPG. These tires are sure footed in rain and the limited ice / snow I've driven them in with the hybrid's AWD drivetrain. i have over 55k on them so they went the distance. While they are due for replacement, I wouldn't think twice about a cross country road trip with them as they are! The only reason I'm considering something else is I miss 44+ MPG and my 2nd Rav4 Hybrid ('23 XSE) does this regularly.

Quite, But no Traction.

These tires came Stock on my 2022 Ford Maverick. The tires are quite and provide a smooth ride. The traction is terrible, with 7/32 tread depth on all tires, the front tires always slip in light rain. Heavy rain causes major hydroplaning and traction issues. Would not recommend these for replacement tires.

Bassdrumer, we're sorry to read of your disappointment. We'd recommend getting an inspection of the tires from an authorized Michelin retailer. Have the dealer call us with their findings while you are there. Then we will know how to proceed.
