Either OR? Self Seal or Run Flats?

The wear was good replaced on my 2023 lyric at 27k. Several times had a nail or screw in a tire and the self seal worked perfectly. People need to understand the all car makers are not putting spares in the vehicles, maybe with the exception of pick-ups. I also have a C8 Corvette with Run Flats and would prefer a self seal tire on that car. Run Flats on a previous Benz. It's either or. Run Flats are harder and louder,

So far so good. Tires drive good and ride good with no noses. My only concern is durability and wear and tear. The tires that came on my car when we purchased it new didn’t last as long as expected or through out the warranty. I’m paying close attention to this first purchase on my own to ensure the tires are rotated and balanced properly in case these don’t last as long as the warranty states.

Good Tires

My Hyundai Tucson Hybrid came with these tires. I was very pleaed with their handling and comfort. Traction was great for most of their life but lessened more than expected as they approached the end of their tread life. I'm going to have to replace them at 44,000 miles due to tread depth. I would have liked to have a little closer to 55,000.

You can buy better

These came standard on my 2023 Toyota Sienna. From the beginning I noticed how easily the front tires will spin on takeoff in the rain. This is a hybrid so it does have more torque but it is very easy to break the grip. Second, they are loud. Finally, at 35K and need replacement, and I have them rotated with every oil change. These will not make 45K. Have not had any mechanical issues with them but I would not recommend them.

Decent Tire Poor Tread Life

The Primacy all season tire was a factory tire on my 2022 Ford Escape. I’m replacing them at 32,000 miles because they won’t make it through a moderate winter where it snows. I might be able to squeeze another 4,000 miles if I lived in a different climate. I’m not sure if my expectations are too high from Michelin but I think the tires should last longer.

Great Handling/Poor Treadwear

These tires came with my new Ford Escape vehicle. Great dry road handling with good wet and snow traction. The ride is good if your really like to feel the road. I was suprised that I needed new tires after only 36,000 miles, and I do rotate every oil change. I will replace soon with the Defender 2 which I have had a better experience on my previous vehicles as far as treadwear (70,000 mi+) and wet and snow traction.

Foam Insert Separated From My Primacy AS TO on my 2025 Tesla M3.

2025 Tesla M3 with ~ 16.5K miles. The cylindric foam insert supposedly glued to the inside of the tire to reduce sound, fully separated. The foam rolled into a ball causing significant shuttering at 70-75 MPH. I went to Big O tires for balancing thinking that would resolve the problem. Unfortunately, no. Back to Big O. This time they removed the tire discovering the foam no longer attached to the tire. Who knew tires had foam inserts? Tires handle well but don't think I'll repurchase these Michelin's. First time I've experienced any issues with Michelin's.

Round and Black

I give them two stars because they fit the definition of tires. These are the OE tires on our 2025 Ford Escape. We have about 2,000 miles on them. First off, they are horrible in rainy weather. The feedback isn't very good and they like to wander. We might get 35,000 miles out of them. I believe that they are worse than the Energy Saver A/S that came on my 2017 Escape. I will be glad when replacement time gets here. I'll probably put a set of Goodyear Comfort Tread on.

Flat tire after 900 miles

Just purchased Cadillac LYRIQ.900 miles. Flat tire in my garage. Small piece of mulch wood barely in the tire. No spare. Reading these reviews are scaring me that these tires are going to be an issue especcially with no run flat or spare tire. Supposedly self-sealing per dealer. They certainly didn't self seal as tire went completely flat in my garage.Worried in Florida.

NOT an All Season Tire!

One star... 1 star! Hopefully Michelin pays attention because they fit the definition of terrible tires. I would LOVE a recall on these tires; Michelin, if you read this, please consider a recall to save your reputation of making great tires! These are the original equipment (OE) tires on our 2024 Cadillac Lyriq. We have over 12,000 miles on them and they are on track for over 36,000 (we don't drive it hard). Issues: 1. TERRIBLE in rainy weather. 2. WORSE in the snow. and 3. work fine in the summer and the dry, but VERY LIMITED grip in the sub-zero temps. Unsure how Michelin can call them "All Season." The tire feedback is decent if the weather is warm. We've had them balanced and aligned every spring and fall, so the wear remains decent. I will be glad when we can replace them with Michelin X-Ice. I've had three sets of X-ice (for a car and an suv) and they were AMAZING!!! Highly recommend avoiding the Primacy All Seasons, but fully recommend the X-Ice.
