Delicious! As tasty as I hoped.

I've been wanting to try this pot pie for years, but it's just my hubby and me and it's way too much food for two. We had group of friends come over for dinner and this was a perfect opportunity to try one. I served with mashed potatoes and everyone loved it. Many saying the same thing about wanting to try one, but it is just too much for 1 or 2 people. Great veggies, gravy and plenty of chicken. The crust was delicious too. Maybe Sam's should make a smaller version too, maybe a 2/4 serving size.

Great meal for 6 to 8 adults

Delicious! We served this as the main course at a recent family get together. Everyone enjoyed the pot pie and commented on its fullness with chicken and vegetables.

Pot pie

Not as much filling as it used to have. More crust then anything else.

So Much Deliciousness!!!

Full of chicken and vegetables. The crust is moist & flakey and tastes like homemade. I absolutely love this Member's Mark Chicken Pot Pie. The reason I gave it 3-starts is because the cooking instructions are on the bottom instead of the top, the top would not fit snugly to the base, and the aluminum pan is too flimsy, you MUST place the pie on a baking sheet in order to remove it from the oven without spilling it! But, let me reiterate, this pie is absolutely delicious and is my new go-to for comfort food! I hope Sam's Club will read this and make improvements to the packaging.

The Gold Standard of Store-Bought Comfort Food

If you've spent years searching for a pre-made chicken pot pie that doesn't taste like a salt lick or a bowl of mushy peas, the Member's Mark Chicken Pot Pie is the finish line. Frankly, it's better than most "from-scratch" versions I've tried at sit-down restaurants. Why It Stands Out The first thing you'll notice is the sheer weight of it. This isn't a pie filled with air and gravy; it is densely packed with massive chunks of tender, white-meat chicken. The Crust: It manages to be incredibly flaky and buttery on top while remaining structural on the bottom. It doesn't get that "soggy cardboard" texture that plagues many frozen or deli-aisle pies. The Filling: The gravy is velvety and rich without being overly salty. The vegetables (peas, carrots, and sometimes pearl onions) actually taste fresh and retain a bit of snap. The Value: At over 3 lbs, it easily feeds a family of four (or provides several days of the best leftovers you'll ever have). The Verdict It's rare for a club-store item to feel truly "homemade," but this one nails it. It is the ultimate low-effort, high-reward dinner for a cold evening or a busy weeknight. Pros: Enormous chunks of high-quality chicken. Perfect, golden-brown flaky crust. Seasoned beautifully—no extra salt or pepper needed. Cons: It takes over an hour to bake, so plan ahead! Tip: Let the pie rest for about 10–15 minutes after taking it out of the oven. This allows the filling to set so it doesn't run when you slice into that perfect crust.

Chicken Pot Pie

These are amazing! I like to add an egg wash to the top for the classic down home finish. Great meal for a large family, or for a small family with plenty of leftovers. The leftovers of one of these are just as good or better than right out of the oven. My daughter and I love these. Highly recommended.

The trimming of the meat was pretty good. Meat quality is above average. It's a little high priced for what it is. 40% of a half loin will yield very nice chops. The other 60% makes it okay roast but it's probably better Suited pounded out as cutlets

Somebody slipping

I have bought this several times and usually very good. This time, however, had huge nasty pieces of chicken and that’s it. Like it’s supposed to be shredded chicken. It made 2 out of 5 of us throw up because of the nasty chicken in it. Threw over half away.

Tastes homemade!

I have looked at this pie every time we were at Sam's. My husband always thought it was too big for the 2 of us. Finally bought it. He loved it! As I did. The pastry is flaky and the filling is rich and creamy! I did deliver a some to my granddaughter for lunch at work. She loved it as well. I do recommend to start at a lesser cook time than listed. It cooked perfect in 15 minutes less. Warms up great ad leftovers.

Chicken Pot Pie

We buy this often. It's huge and provides 2-3 means for my wife and I. It's a bit runny when first cooked so we put it in soup dishes but the leftovers are much easier to handle because there is less liquid to deal with. You may want to jazz it up with some jerk seasoning or crushed red peppers because it's not at all spicy.
