So far so good

Purchased these tires after the OE tires ( continental procontact) reaches the end of their useful life right at 50k. I've put about 5k on these tires and have not found anything to complain about yet. Extremely quite compared to the OE and the a good deal more comfortable.

The best tire ever

I had suffered a long time buy used tires that were costly and unsafe that they even messed my wheel alignment. Buying this tires has transformed my driving experience. If you are reading reviews trying to figure out if you need to buy thus tires please stop you are overthinking and buy this tires. I am not even gonna waste anymore time explaining how good my car drives. The car feel like it's floating with added power and great acceleration. You know what just buy and thank me later. No! I am not being paid by good year! I am just a happy customer.

Comfortable and Durable

I have used another kind of Goodyear tire and liked the smooth ride, except I had to replace them every 30,000 miles I was told this new set of tires would last longer than the other tires I replaced, but would give a slightly less comfortable ride. I've had them for over a month and I do not notice the difference, and they will last 20,000 miles longer.

Pros and cons

235/40 R18. I have a Focus ST, I'm used to summer tires and a more sporty feel. This tire is nice and quiet, that's the best part. Bumps are absorbed better than a summer tires, wet traction is great. The biggest let down is under extreme braking or turning. I used to be able to stomp on the brake and never get a squeal, and the rigidity has been softened as well on this tire. Dry performance is nothing compared to a good/decent summer tire, but these are quieter and more comfortable. I was drawn in by the treadwear rating. These will do a lot of highway miles without blinking, but fall short on dry traction and let go much sooner. But that's to be expected for such a long lasting tire. Overall I wanted a quieter longer lasting highway tire, and that's exactly what I got. Only about 3000 miles on these so far.

Happy with tires but one had a slow leak

Happy with tires purchased, but one tire had a slow leak at bead because of barcode on bead. Store serviceman removed barcode and monitoring the tire & tire pressure to see if problem resolved. Otherwise tires ride great and traction great. Would purchase these tires again.

Excellent tire.

Very comfortable ride which was my first objective along with long life. Tire has more tread depth than most other tires. Like the design as this influences the quietness of the tire. At 72 years old I have had Michelin, Pirelli, and other top of the line tires. Currently this tire may be the best. Kudos to Goodyear for making an excellent tire.

Great Improvement from My Default Tires

I had Nexen tires as the default factory tires on my Mitsubishi Outlander. They were worn out quickly and super dangerous on wet or snowy road.... Now I've driven with these Assurance Maxlife tires for a month. It's been a big improvement compared to my original tires. The Maxlife tires performed very well on wet roads. The handling is definitely it's advantage. I.

Hard ride and poor gas mileage

The ride on these is very loud and very hard. Additionally, my gas mileage has gone down 2 miles per gallon (averaged almost 31 and now just at 29j. My vehicle was new when I bought it and I replaced the tires around 30,000 and put these on it. I am a month into these new tires and am unhappy and now I am wishing that I had gotten other tires. I don't even know if I want to wait for them to wear out.

New tires

I recently purchased newGoodyear Assurance MaxLife tires for my 2015 Escape. So far I have been very pleased with the performance of them. They have a very smooth and quiet ride. Time will tell how well how they wear and the mileage I get out of them. The customer service was great!

Absolutely love these tires!!!

I think these tires are rated for 80,000 miles, heck I don't know if we will have the car that much longer! But they are great for the first 5000 miles. Quiet, nice ride. So glad I made the decision to go with these tires. I would buy the exact same tire for any car or SUV. Please keep them rotated, it would be a shame to ruin them, but they will only last if you take care of them. Looking forward to 80K.
