I have bought this bacon for years and it was the most flavorful thick meaty bacon I've ever had. NOW, the past two boxes I have purchased, one last year and one this year have been very thin, little meat and smelled and tasted rancid. My mouth used to water while cooking the bacon in the past as it emitted a nice smoky odor. NOW it smells like old meat cooking, does not cook like it used to, and taste is rancid. As you can see the latest package I purchased has a sell by date of 02-26-2022, so this terrible bacon is most likely still in the stores. Last year I threw out about 9 lbs and now I am going to throw out almost the whole box and will not purchase this again

I was on the fence about buying this after reading the negative reviews, but I am glad i purchased this item. The bacon is perfect for me. It is not thick cut, but it also isn't so thin that is shreds when you pull it apart. It is not salty at all, which I can appreciate seeing as how I am going to be eating nothing but bacon for the next month! It is a lot of bacon, so get tour zip lock bags and break it down. It cooks perfectly on the skillet. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste. It is the best bacon in the history of the world? No. Is it good quality for a great price? Absolutely.

Best bacon! I love how it's separated by sheets so you can separate and freeze it. Cooks well and great flavor

It's a shame that when sam has something that works they always screw it up by using another supplier,,bring back smithfield

I love this bacon but it has been out of stock the last few times I went to pick up groceries . I hope it comes back in stock soon!

The last couple of packs had a funky taste after you cook it. It's like somebody forgot to put the smoke in it.

It’s a lot of bacon for the price. The flavor tastes like Southern States. I wish the slices were thicker
