I bought a pack a while back that was very good. This pack was not so good. Pieces falling apart when picked up. Some thick pieces and some thin. It was marked down, but still not very happy with it. What you see through the window on the box is not necessarly representative of the rest of the box.

I had bought this bacon for years and had always been good. The last 2 boxes I bought had a bad smell but was not ruined. Date was still good but it was cooked the bacon tasted old. I was very disappointed. Not sure if I should trust buying bacon there anymore.

Took 1st row of bacon out & then looked at the rest of the bacon. As every single strip of bacon is sooo thin it falls apart taking it out. I will not purchase this again. Not worth it. We have a big family so bulk quantity like this is good. It's a lot of bacon but it's too thin to cook or enjoy

Horrible!!! This used to be the best bacon. Perfect thickness and fat content. Now the parchment paper in between is thicker than the bacon. I would be embarrassed to serve this in a restaurant and very disappointed so be served this on my plate. Shame on you Sams Club !

I must have gotten a bad box. This is the worst bacon I've ever had. It is 90% fat and shrinks to a quarter of it's size. It pops like you threw water in the pan. It's as thin as crepe paper. I only bought it because an old lady told me that it was really good (old ladies usually know good bacon) and that it freezes well. (it does not). Now I'm thinking she was just talking to me because she cut in front of me to get to the cooler. It says "restaurant style", but I can say that if this was ever served to me in a restaurant, I'd send it back. Save your money.

This is the BEST bacon we've ever had and we're seniors. It is thin but the taste is SO good and it literally melts in your mouth. We put down a sheet of parchment paper with bacon on top and bake it 400, cook it about 20 minutes or till done. Everyone's oven differs a bit so you may need more or less cooking time. My only complaint is there was no EXP. date on the box or packages.

I've bought this several times at the recommendation of another friend with a large family like ours. It was great! The last time I got it, though, the top layer was good and every layer underneath was pure fat. No meat. Just strips of pork fat. And this fat, when cooked on a griddle like I always do, turned black and gross before it would crisp up. It was a complete waste of money as the resulting product is limp fat or pure carbon. There is no in-between. The closest I got to a good cook with it was still just like chewing on strips of fat. I don't know what they have done but I feel totally scammed since the top sheet you can see through the plastic window on the box looked nice and had a good balance of fat to meat ratio for perfect cooking and flavor. Everything else was just...fat strips. So they knew what they were doing.

I buy this bacon all the time, as we love it. I do not understand how the price increases up to $46 then drops back again to $30 something. I refuse to buy at the $46 price. I also purchased this on separate occasions and had the 2nd package be moldy. Each time I have returned and received a refund. The dates were not expired, so I am not sure why. I just wait for next delivery before I buy.

The first few layers are pretty good, but as you get further down, it really poor quality. So stingy it comes apart when you try to pull it from the paper.Mostly just fat. Not near what most restaurants would ever serve. I won't be buying any more of it.
