I have bought this bacon for years and it was the most flavorful thick meaty bacon I've ever had. NOW, the past two boxes I have purchased, one last year and one this year have been very thin, little meat and smelled and tasted rancid. My mouth used to water while cooking the bacon in the past as it emitted a nice smoky odor. NOW it smells like old meat cooking, does not cook like it used to, and taste is rancid. As you can see the latest package I purchased has a sell by date of 02-26-2022, so this terrible bacon is most likely still in the stores. Last year I threw out about 9 lbs and now I am going to throw out almost the whole box and will not purchase this again

We buy this bacon every week for our restaurant. Why has it gone up $10 in a week?

Thick pieces only on the top. Very thin once you past the top layer. Will not buy again.

This bacon is sliced so thin that it sticks together when you try to take it out and cook it. Ended up having to cook it in clumps.

We love the bacon this box bacon is thicker like it used to be just wish still in 2 5 lb pkgs not 1 10 lb

It's a shame that when sam has something that works they always screw it up by using another supplier,,bring back smithfield

Feeding a family of six a hearty breakfast is not cheap! Especially when you have teenage boys! :) Great product for the price per pound.
