Went in to grab a tuxedo cake for my son's birthday, and for whatever reason, they didn't have any that day. (Literally... Every other trip, there have always been 4-6 of them.) So I picked this up as an alternative. It's a beautiful cake, but the icing just wasn't that great, and the cake itself was somewhat dry. It got worked on over a few days, but in the end, wound up throwing a quarter of it out as the kids just didn't like it enough to finish it off. The tuxedo cake is our favorite item from the bakery. Even the custom birthday cakes from the book (with buttercream frosting) are better than this one.
