Sturdy alternative to cheap swingsets.. We hope.

Our kids are 10, 7, and 3 and after being frustrated by poor quality on a supposed top brand expensive wooden playset, we saw the good reviews on this and decided to try it. Their favorite part of the previous set had been the monkey bars. Assembly took 2 men 2 1/2 hours. The instructions were a big help. The kids are thrilled with it. The youngest hasn't quite figured out how to climb to the top, which is just fine, but that will happen soon enough. My 150 lb self can climb it, it seems very sturdy.

Super sturdy

The dome is super sturdy. My two kids and I have been on it together. I love the colors of it. Looks nice in our yard. My kids are three and five and climb all over it. It is tall enough that they will be able to hang from it for years. Fast shipping.

Ace Flyer Teeter-Totter

We bought this for our daughters family at least three years ago. Was easy to assemble (grandkids even got to help) and they have been using it hard since. Currently they have seven kids of their own and often have friends over. Great product. Thank you.

Monkey Bars

Looks good in the yard. Both of my boys like it. My oldest is four in two months and the other well he's two and a half. I feel that it should be rated from four years old to 15 years old. My almost four years old can climb on it barely and it took a few times playing on it for him to be able to climb to the top bars without help. My two year old well he's simply way to young but if you know kids then you know he wants to play on it just like his big brother does. So he has to be supervised and held when on it at all times. As for my four year old, I had help him at first since he was way to shaky and falling off. FYI: I don't think my four year old could do this a year ago when he was three. He's an average size kid. For the most part it was fairly easy to put together by myself and only needed my wife hold up the larger sections while I connected them together. FYI: Make six green stars at the beginning, the sixth one will be for the very top. If you have your own Allen Wrench that fits better then the one provided then use it, trust me. The bolts head that takes the Allen Wrench will strip easily so make sure to put a lot of down pressure on the Allen Wrench if using the one provided. FYI: I tried to move it around a little just to test it out for when I need to cut the grass. Well it is flimsy when picking it up from the outside on one side and seemed to want to bend and break on itself so I put it down rite away. I would suggest going under it and moving it by lifting it up from the inside center and sliding it across the ground or if you have another strong adult you could even carry it since it's not that heavy. It really should have come with anchors since it can be moved/pick up way to easily by an older kid lifting it from the outside and damaging it beyond repair or while another kid is playing on it on the other side. Just my observation that it didn't take much to lift it from the outside or inside for that matter. Make sure to place above soft ground in case the kid falls. Pro: Price is best here, sturdy "even I can climb on it at 175lbs, easy to put together. Con: Bolts heads to soft "need to be harder so they don't strip out when tightening". No anchors, flimsy when moving, not for a three year old unless you have very tall kids. Hope this helps out. Good luck and please watch your kids while playing on this as the can get hurt very badly in a second.

Fun for everyone

We've had the airplane teeter totter for about 6 years now. It's been a lot of fun for our kids. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because one of the bars that holds one of the seats up has rusted off. The rest of the plane is in great shape so it must have just been a fluke and unfortunately the warranty is only good for a year. Maybe there's something we could've done to prevent the rusting from happening. I don't know. I still say it was a good purchase though. My kids and their friends had a blast while it lasted!

Makes a great hut

I meant for my kids to use this as a climbing aparatus but it has a tarp over it most days and makes for a great fort! The boys have lots of fun in their boys only club house. The hand grips are great and also have multiple uses, such as strapping bungee cords across to hold hostages during battles, or hanging "no girls allowed" signs. This turned out to be a great investment both for me (keeps them busy for long stretches of time) and for my kids.

Many activities in one product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have the Lifetime swing set(2) and the domed climer so I was looking for another outdoor play activity. This product offered many different activity’s in one product and holds seven kids at one time. Very sturdy.

Excellent toy.

Absolutely love this toy. It can be enjoyed by several of the grandchildren when they come to visit at he same time. It is a clever design. The only problem I had (as a grandmother) is putting it together. It took a long time but it was worth it. We love it.

Decent climber that's not easy to put together, just pray you never have to take it apart to move it!

We bought this 5 years ago. It was kind of a pain to assemble, but lots of big stuff is so no big deal. It seemed it kind of bent easily whenever we moved it around to mow under it but sturdy when the kids were on it. After 5 years it's already rusty on the parts that touch the ground, and some other places. The bigger issue? As we tried to take it apart to move it to our new house, all the allen head screws stripped. No way to get them out. Already tried all the hacks, got a screw extractor set that won't work because they're Allen head screws rather than regular ones. The bars are now bent and cracking where we got a few pieces taken apart from the pressure of not being supported. The whole thing is now trash. Really expensive toy for only 5 years of use. And we have 5 young kids all upset that we have to throw it away.

We're sorry to hear that your dome climber is rusting. This shouldn't be happening, especially since the the steel used to build our playsets are made with a weather resistant powder-coated finish that protects from cracking, warping, rot or splinters. It is made to be rust-resistant. However, we recommend using a rust treatment for extra protection a couple times a year, especially if you live in a high humidity climate. Try reaching out to our customer service experts. They can be reached at 800-225-3865 or by email at customercare@lifetime.com. Customer Service hours are Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm (MT).

Kid's imaginations Soar!

Our grandkids love airplanes, and when they saw this their little eyes bugged out and the game was on! It was well packaged, delivered on time and quite heavy for a short 62 yr old lady to maneuver to its assembly zone! All parts were present and easy to follow instructions were included. I did however cheat and go to You Tube for further visual instruction: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLvp2vvFhcL8LTUJ1L4hb3709JZlMe0dAn We opted for the colorful one vs the earth tones because it makes it more visually fun!.. very sturdy and well balanced. It took about 5 hours time for me and then eventually my husband to put together. Well worth the price. Rust spots may eventually become in issue and the plastic may crack for sun exposure.....but I'm banking on at least 3 years until this becomes an issue, and then since its Lifetime, I'm willing to bet I will be able to get replacement parts. They are a very good company. Their playground Model 90143 is amazing too.
