It didn't take as long to put together as several have mentioned in previous reviews. It took my husband and a friend about 90 minutes or so start to finish. Our son (age 5) and his buddies LOVE it. It is one of those products that is well worth the money!!

reading the directions and following them was a joke.. as they read you started with 6 pipes 4 brown and 2 shorter green,, not right for making a circle.. after about 2 hrs of following the supplied directions and going on line and finding the same poor directions,, my son and I desided to follow the picture on the box and started from the bottom and work up... and would you belive it only took us an hour to put the dome together... my advice if you purcess this climber throw the directions out and put it together using the pictures on the box,, it will save you a lot of time... The Lifetime Climbing Dome is a quality made product that will last for many years, and the kids LOVE IT! We accidentally threw away the climbing handles. Customer Service was very quick in shipping out replacements to us. I will definitely purchase a Lifetime product again and recommend to my friends.

Bought this unit for our two sons to use. Nice to have a 60-inch climbing dome available for personal use. The boys love it and being able to hang like a bat. Fairly easy to assemble with a few extra hands. I used my boys as my assistants. Weight is good enough to be sturdy but light enough to move around without much fuss. Powder coating on the bars will provide long term protection against corrosion and also aids with keeping a grip while climbing. The handholds located at the joints are sturdy and built for long term use too. We are very happy with this purchase and with several Lifetime products we own. Keep up the good work and thanks!

I bought this for my three grandkids, ages 3, 4 and 5. They love it and they can all ride on it at the same time. The airplane design is very unique. It took several hours for one man to put together. He didn't have any problems with the directions and all the pieces and nuts and bolts were there. It is well-built and I'm quite pleased with it.

The climbing dome is fantastic and definitely suitable for the backyard. Big enough to accommodate many kids and not too big to create an obscene eyesore in your backyard. It was relatively easy to put together. The instructions were good and easy to follow. It took me 3.5 hours but that was because I attempted most of it by myself - not a great idea. You do need an extra set of hands to put this together and keep your sanity at the same time. I bought this for my son for his 5th birthday and he absolutely loves it. So do 10 other kids from the neighborhood - ranging from ages 2 to 10. They climb on it, in it, over it, through it, around it and love just hanging out eating their popsicles under the dome. Also - i bought it "site to store" and it came in many days earlier than estimated.

Very solid construction. It will take 4 hours if you have kids around and not the recommended 3 adults. It's a great toy and the kids love it, however my kids are 16 mo, 3 yrs and 6 yes. They are small for their ages and we have the plane on the tallest setting. With the current setting, there isn't michc room for growth. Also, the wings that teeter do not go as far up/down as a "regular" teeter totter. Still it is a very fun, solid toy that I'm sure will last.

My age rate would be More like 4-10. The three year old would have to be an older LARGE sized one. I bought this for daycare and there are a couple of things I would change. first is the height of the first level going around. It's high for 3's and smaller 4 years olds. They so badly want to get on the first level and its frustrating to them. Second it would have been nice to have one or two open or square areas. I have some kids that are trying to flip on the first level bar and they find it difficult because the interfernece of the triangle hits their shoulders. Since all my kids are under 6, I really don't want them climbing on the top. We've put a tarp on top for a little shade. Works really well. This was NOT an easy thing to put together. One person would be miserable, with to it was manageable, but still a long time. The directions could have been written a little more clearly.

I just set it up with my 5 year old daughter and it took 3 hours. It was a lot of fun to work with her on setting it up. It is definitely helpful having an extra set of hands. This is a great climbing structure for the backyard during the Global Pandemic!

This is a sturdy and entertaining toy. My Spider-Man loving son spends lots of time playing here. It is light enough it can be moved (by two people) to mow the lawn underneath. It is a time commitment to put together and maintain by tightening the screws on a regular basis.
