I have NEVER liked protein bars. However, I love, love, love these bars. They taste like Baby Ruth bars, only better. My husband is diabetic and he even likes these bars. I am hypoglycemic and these are great for me. I only wish I had discovered then before now!!!

I found this true for all the snack type Atkin food that I have purchased- Oh my goodness, make sure you aren't going to around anyone in the evening if you eat this during the day! They taste terrific, like having a candy bar. If you can live with the flatulence they are great, but for most of us, that's an issue. I believe it's the sugar alcohol, as I know there is some diet gum that does the same thing to me.

I have been doing low carb since the beginning of the year and have found the Atkins shakes and bars to be the best of their kind out there! Before trying this caramel nut roll, my favorite was the Peanut Caramel Cluster bar (tastes like a PayDay candy bar!). But these caramel nut roll bars are the best! It is creamy and chocolately and does not have the artificial sweetener aftertaste. I carry Atkins snack bars in my purse in case I am out somewhere and am tempted to grab fast food. The bars and shakes are so satisfying and curb my hunger!

I just wrote that the Triple Chocolate bar is quickly becoming my favorite, but the Caramel Chocolate Nut Roll has been my favorite for at least a year. It's similar to a Baby Ruth bar. I like how I can eat it slowly, biting off one peanut at a time (along with some chocolate and caramel filling). I always include 1-2 boxes of these in each Atkins order I place.

These are the best tasting bars out there. The consistency is another issue. There are massive differences in the sizes of the bars from pack to pack. Also, at times they will seem to be stale as if out of date yet, that isn't the problem. The bars are fantastic, just wish they were more consistent.

Love the taste, fiber, the no added sugar.But can you find a way to use healthier oils? As I'm on an anti inflamatory diet and needed to add more calories to maintain wt, but the oils currently used are inflamatory.
