Difficult to really award a star rating. Lights are fantastic but the app to control them is very confusing. Also, if you need to place them a fair distance away from your house, be warned, they claim there is no extension cable available. Bought them to light the house for Christmas and then light up the trees after but the cables they supply just aren't long enough. Great product, poor support.

Let me start by saying I have 18 Govee products and recommend them to everyone. However I've come across the first item that has Just failed after 5 weeks. Govee warrantied them no problem but here is my attempt to "waterproof" their outside spot lights even further. I've read multiple reviews of people having them fail for the same reasons. Hopefully Govee addresses the issue and comes out with a new version.

I was unsure about purchasing these lights — concerned that they would be complicated to manage, that the lights themselves would not be the warm glow I was accustomed to from non-LED lights, that they would look fake or too high-tech. Boy, was I wrong! App was easy to use, lights are gorgeous and warm, super painless to put up — I am using the Christmas lights outside, wrapped in pine garlands. I used to have to run outside and unplug/plug my old lights every morning and evening, and now I just open my phone. Love them!

First of all, I love the up-lights !️. I hope they last and the issue with lights getting water in them was resolved, only time will tell. I put out 14 up lights total. Three (3) sets of 4 up lights & One (1) set of 2. The overall set up was fairly easy. All 4 sets should be like sets, but the set with 2 lights doesn't have all same scene selections. That is disappointing because it is the whole set of seasonal changes tab missing from the 2 light set !. Not sure if the Seasonal selection can be added to the 2 light set?? Any feedback to get that added to the 2 light set would be awesome. The app is easy to group the sets and set up automation. To protect the plug and controller I used a Outdoor Electrical Box Waterproof IP54-rated Outdoor Outlet Box Black Outdoor Extension Cord Cover Box (7.6 x 3.9 x3.3 inch) Wall-Hangable Waterproof Box for Protect Outlet and controller.

I bought these in 2023 at Christmas time to add to our decoration we boxed them up after Christmas and put the back up this year they worked fine up until it rained and they filled with water and shorter out they claim water proof they are not. Paid a lot of money for these and now just trash

I really wanted these to be great, and they were for about a month or two. Unfortunately, they stopped working after the first rain they were exposed to. Despite the casing being fully screwed on, all 4 lights had water/condensation get in and short each light 1 by 1. The floodlights don't seem to have this same defect, but I liked the way these cast the light more than the floodlights.

It's easy to setup and link with the Govee App. I was able to unbox and setup this package of four spotlights in about 30-minutes. Immediately after plugging them in I was able to see them in the app and add them to the system. Going through the process of adding them to the Wi-Fi was a breeze and I was able to quickly change the scene to match the other Govee spotlights that I'm using on another part of the house. The variety of scenes and illumination options is great and makes the whole integration of permanent lighting and spotlights super fun.

So I purchased 3 (4 Packs) of the outdoor spotlights. 1 last year and 2 a couple months ago. Looks like the Adapter and Control box (All one unit) have gone bad. I called them to ask about replacements, warranty or otherwise. Even offered to just pay for new ones to avoid the red tape of their warranty procedures. They said they wouldn't SELL me the part! COME ON

I was disappointed that they do not work with 5G.I can't use the app to change colors.
