Buy it

You should buy a JawSaw if you need to or if you need to make your children easily cut up tree branches. You add oil and start chopping. I can't think of anything that would improve this product. Although I'd recommend getting the battery powered JawSaw because I've managed to get the extension cord in the way. After hauling off a large branch I'm glad I splurged and got the Aerocart. I now laugh at people using wheelbarrows because they're incredibly heavy and outdated compared to the aerocart. Now the chainsaw is outdated compared to the JawSaw. Add to cart, people!

It does a great job on trimming branches.

I was always afraid of using a chain saw but I feel safe using this worx jaw saw.i am no longer afraid. It does a great job on low branches and cutting up the branches into smaller pieces for fire pit or whatever.thank you so much for making such a great tool!

Easy to use

I got this for Christmas and thought I would be using it in the spring. Due to the heavy snow pulling tree limbs down we got it out and used it. It was very easy to use straight out of the box. The oil is even included. We got the tree limbs down within just a few minute. I am very happy with this purchase and so is my son who didn't think much of it out of the box. Saying he has a chain saw. But he was very impressed.

Since I bought this I have been sick and not able to try it out. One think I think would be better, would be one with a 20+ volt battery without having to pull 100 to 200 feet. of electrical cable. Some places I want to use it is over 100 feet from a power outlet.

WORX JawSaw

My JawSaw was purchased as a Christmas present so I will not be able to properly review at this time. However I anticipate the JawSaw to be equal in quality, reliability and satisfaction as my 18V Edger/Trimmer, 18V Hedge Trimmer, 18V Blower, TriVAC, 13 Amp Snow Blower and Worx SD Drill which are all 5 Star products. I began using the Worx product in 2010 and will soon be getting the WORX Aerocart.

Easy to use and worx great

We have searched for something for the wife to use for some time now. She was afraid of my big chain saws, and all of the small limb saws either ran out of battery power too quick or didn't work on anything bigger than my little finger. She is completely at ease with the WORX and is now able to help with our wood cutting without worry. Thank you for this product.

Perfect size

Have you ever used a gas powered chain saw? This Worx is perfect for most of us suburban home owners. We usually just have little braches and limbs that need to be cut up. The worx elimates the need for the long handled cutters that require a good bit of strength to cut up many of the little branches and limbs in the yard. In fact it is going to make the fresh cut on the Christmas tree easier. I love the jaws. They hold the branch or limb in place and help eliminate the dreaded bindups of the chain. Thanks for this oportunity to give you an honest review. Tom Marley Snellville, GA.

easy to use

A huge limb fell from our pecan tree one week after I received my new saw. The saw works beautifully and allowed a 71 year and a 69 year old girl to clean up most of the branches in no time. We are happy with the ease with which we cut the tree and the safety of our saw! Thanks Worx for your innovative products!

Good for property clean up

I bought this about a month ago and had to wait until the ground dried out before plugging it in and giving it a go. I didn't want the battery powered version because I seem to have longevity trouble with battery powered tools. It worked right out of the box and I was able to cut some woody things that were bothering me since last year. I also cut a tree branch that was growing down rather than up as it should. My favorable impressions: It works great if the wood being cut is substantial enough to not bend as there must be some resistance for the jaws to close. It will not cut thin or weak growth. I makes a fast cut. I liked that I could quickly cut up all the tree branches that had fallen since last fall. It is easy to carry and operate. I have a lot of bamboo intrusion onto my property and I have cut at least a thousand shoots every years for the past three. This saw is not in my anti-bamboo arsenal along with my hack saw, axe and multi tool. I don't care if I damage the bamboo so the not so clean cut is not an issue. My not quite as favorable impressions: It does not make as clean a cut as my regular chain saw which is important of living growth. I expected the handle to be a little longer since I got the impression that I would not have to bend over to cut things on or near ground level; which was the primary reason I bought it. Get the handle extension to solve this issue.
