The basket is perfect for the smaller items I have and ones that I need to grab quickly. It also has a shelf which I am using for jars that can get caught up in the deeper section.

Very impressed with the quietness as well with this appliance. Frigidare been part of our family for years, we have never had a problem.

My power went out for about 14 hours not long after getting the freezer, and it kept everything frozen until the electricity came back on. Fits perfectly in my 2nd floor apartment and as an added bonus, looks great.
