Sadly, I know wines the world over. My favorite Malbec is Caro. This wine is more robust, a little on the "chewable" side, but it is $50+ cheaper. Outside of the chicken at the back corner of the store, this is the best value at Sam's.

Purchased this about a month ago. The year on this bottle is 2021. Generally, me and my wife are not super picky. This wine, however, had an over abundant taste of alcohol. I would equate it to cheap boxed wine. No character, no body. It was very disappointing. I hope it was a fluke on the batch. But with how many other wines there are to select from, I will probably make an effort to stay away from this particular wine.

This Malbec is a well balanced red wine. I have bought quite a few bottles. It has a giod flavor and finish that dies go with most foods. It is not a sweet wine if that is your forte, nor is it is not a light wine. It is lighter than many Rioja wines I've tasted. All-in-all, for less than $7 you can't beat it.

Bitter Malbec

It’s not complex or sophisticated, but that’s a good thing. A nice, inviting wine that is easy to drink and enjoy!

Might have gotten a bad batch according to the review but my bottles were horrible: extremely bitter, high tannins, more tart closer to a French Malbec.

One of the better tasting Malbec wines I’ve tried. Wish it were in stock more often. I’ll need to start buying by the case. You won’t be disappointed.
