I think purchasing you H / P printer may be a mistake Won't fax printer full page documents waste ink which I now find is cost prohibitive Such of don't more research As a disabled veteran extremely hard to navigate

Had this for a little over a year. Nothing but trouble. Half the time it will not print till I reboot my router. Other times it will print about 5 minutes after I sent a page to print.

Not very user-friendly spent half my day on the phone with HP just trying to get this printer set up only to discover that it bounces between a two. Four Netwerk and the 5G networks not too happy with it

Where to start? I bought 2 of these the same day for my business and only could get one up and running after literally spending hours on the phone with HP. There is some kind of issue with the Instant Ink program and the printer would not recognize any of the cartridges. One of the printers they (HP) had to replace because we could never get it to work so HP sent me a new printer. They also had me sign up for Instant Ink because they wanted to give me "Free" ink because of all of my trouble. Fast forward to today, printer again won't print and tech tells me that in order to get it working I'm going to have to pay for Instant Ink again so basically they're holding my printer hostage and won't let it print until I pay them! I'm going to throw these two printers in the trash and go buy 2 EPSON printers.

Bought this in March of 2024. It was a pain to set up compared to others I've had. First off, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE SO CALLED "6 MONTH'S FREE INK". Bold faced lie. I got one in my included plan. The second one they sent cost me dearly, PLUS... I got charged for extra pages that I really didn't use. The dirty trick of this printer, is that it MISCOUNTS page usage! It ADDS pages to your "allotment" of pages. (I DIDN'T EVEN BUY A PAPER PLAN) It can't count over 10 pages without throwing 2-3 extra pages in the count...NO MATTER WHAT YOUR PRINT DRIVER BOX SAYS.I quit the auto order program, and decided to buy ink. THIS PRINTER IS PROGRAMMED TO NOT ACCEPT AFTERMARKET INK! So I ordered the captive prisoner ink from HP. It uses color ink so fast. I literally got 52 pages, and 2 colors were gone . This printer is going back to Sam's Club tomorrow.

I had bought this printer brand new for my parents. I could not get it to consistently work from day one. You have to be connected to the internet and they have to all HP to monitor printer ink to try and sell you a subscription. I'm tech savvy enough to get around, but this thing is problem after problem. I may had printed 5 sheets of paper in a year. Just a warning, do not buy this. I'm ready to trash it, eat the loss and buy something different. I'd assume this would apply to all HP model printers.

It does what it says it will do, I'm sure, however, it's a little smarter than I am. Granted I'm a little older than most and do know a few things about computers and printers, but I'm still not sure it's hooked up the way it should be and I've had it for a couple weeks.

Typical HP programming problems. I've had HP printers for the last 25 years and most of them had programming problems. It is really getting annoying now. This one had print and scanning problems from the minute I set it up. The last HP printer I had was model OfficeJet Pro 6970 (6975 Sam's) Surprisingly it worked perfect but after 3 years the paper tray broke and I could not locate another one so Sam's Club let me trade it out for this 8028 model which has been a nightmare with the scanning, it only works about 50% of the time the rest of the time I just waste it sitting at my desk.

This is without question the worst, most erratic printer I've ever used. It randomly works or not, routinely gets itself into endless loops, and if you are able to get it to work enough to ever need new ink, it is absurdly expensive. Although I'm not religious, this printer has nearly convinced me that demonic possession is a real thing. A former co-worker, who used to run an HP research lab, told me that there is a right way, a wrong way, and the HP way which defies all description. This is the last HP printer I will ever buy.

Terrible printer, takes forever to print, and if you do not register the printer AND set up the ink program WITH payment within 7 days, you miss out on your "free" 6 months ink. I called trying to get HP to give us the 6 months "free" ink and I got no where. This is being returned to Sams Club today.
