rolling workbench

In my frustration, I wrote bad reviews for this product. I would like to take them back. The holes DO line up. It DOES go together easily. But you must take your time. Like pilots and divers, you have to know which way is up even if you are upside down. Same for right and left. Be patient. You can do it.

Worth 3x the price!

This is the best purchase I have made in a very long time. Fantastic addition to my workshop / garage. The top alone is worth the money. It is handsome, too. I have been using mine in my garage for about a year. I have had zero problems with it, and I roll it around all the time and have permanently mounted a vice, a grinder, and a radial arm saw to the surface with big lug screws (yes screws, no nuts). The work surface is about 1 3/4 inches thick, very solid, with a really nice finish. The finish is so nice, in fact, that you will hesitate to do any work on it for fear of messing it up, BUT, after a year of hard use I can tell you that it holds up great. Yes there are some scuffs and marks, but I throw hammers and parts on it all the time. The stainless steel front is also nice, and so far I have not so much as scratched it, even though I lean stuff against it and bump it with stuff all the time. The back and sides are an industrial finish that also has nary a scratch so far. This is a well designed unit. The ONLY thing that anyone can say negative about this unit is the assembly required. It is quite tedious to put together. If you do not have a battery operated drill / screwdriver then take some of the hundreds of dollars you save on this and buy one to use when you put it together. I am something of a handyman and it took me several hours to assemble. Not difficult, but tedious. Each drawer has to be assembled, and there are a bunch of drawers. I love mine, and will eventually buy another.

Best Everything

This exceeded my expectations at a glance it may look cheap and flimsy, but this thing is as heavy duty as they advertise. The wood workbench is the heaviest component. i was very surprise to see that it was solid wood and not compressed wood. The frame is very well built, the instructions are very simple to follow. Although it may take a couple of hours to assemble this workbench was well designed and constructed.

Workbench

I have this bench and several other Seville items. Yes assembly is tedious but use a cordless driver drill and put some good tunes on and the time passes quickly. I've had several other Seville workbenches for a few years and they assembled the same way and have held up as lathe benches for my machine shop and even withstood a cross state move. This one is serving as a metrology bench with several granite surface plates on the top. The casters make it easy to move from machine to machine. I hope I can buy another before these disappear like the last series did.

Overall, a great addition to my garage

'Some assembly required' would be an understatement. This product comes in two flat boxes with an overall weight exceeding 300 lbs. assembly is required for the bench sides, top and bottom, and all 12 drawers. I am a professional and total assembly took 4 hours. Would I do it again? Absolutely, because the final product is well worth the time and effort!

Like this very much

this and today,03/14/14, I spent about 5 to 5 1/2 hours putting together by myself. The directions were a little backwards as the steps 1 thru whatever was in the middle of the manual, when it should have been in the front. Stripped out 2 screws. Had extra screws left. Overall, it went together quite well and am impressed with the finished product.

Excellent quality and value

The instructions for assembly were excellent. Assembly was easy and the workbench is fantastic. The drawers work smoothly. The workbench even includes the liners for the drawers. My workshop is now very well organized and neat. I would definitely recommend this product.

Much better and more versatile than I thought!

I bought one for my shop and love it. Then thought why not and bought another one and am using it for a kitchen island. It has worked out much better than we thought it would. Lots of drawer space and you can roll it out of the kitchen so you can mop and it is not in the way. We tripled our draw space and cleared some counter top space. This is much better than buying wood cabinets and mounting them to the floor. It is easy to clean as well.

Very happy!

I've looked at many of tool cabinets for my garage, but settled on this one because of the reasonable price. I purchased it back in March of 2015 and have loved it ever since. I literally use it on a daily basis. It holds all of my craftsman tools, buffers, sanders, electric saws, automotive brake equipment, bottle jacks, etc. The quality and durability are great and the wooden top is a perfect platform for small to medium sized jobs. You WILL need help loading/unloading because *it's heavy!* The only issue one may have with it is the Assembly. It's definitely not for the beginner. Tools are provided to put it together, but you'd be better-off with your own professional tools. I had no problem and did it myself, but it did take me a few hours to complete because of the many parts. Other than that, I love it and think it's worth every penny. I'm actually trying to make more room in my garage so I can buy another one in the same size!

Workbench

It will take a minimum of 3 hours to assemble!!! Use power tools. Great quaility, the drawers on he right hand side could be larger if they went with 6 instead of 8. The top is solid. Excellent chest when your 56" tool chest starts to overflow. A bargain for the money. Don't hesitate!!!
