Bad Experience with Assembly

Will never use Angi again to assemble products from Walmart. Difficult to communicate with a real person at either place. Took me three tries to get drawer system built because they didn’t read communications on Angi platform. Final builder left styrofoam inside drawers and between glass top where it was difficult to clean out. Then asked for a “courtesy tip” when it took her longer than expected to finish. As for the drawer system, the drawers are VERY small. Would send back if I hadn’t jumped through hoops to get it built.

When I first saw all those screws and bolts my thoughts were this is not gonna work out right, i also saw the numbers of wooden planks and thought this is now enough wood to make the dresser i saw in the picture. I stand corrected. It turned out to look better.

Angi's assembly was a bad experience

Assembly booking made a week in advance. Received many emails confirming booking. Agent never showed up. Angi representative not able to correct mistake. Cancelled the booking and requested refund. Will never deal with Angi again. As a result, items that require assembly will not be purchased. Walmart should be aware of the kind of businesses they partner with.

A long and arduous experience.

Paid $82 for assembly fee which they do through Angi. Someone came and started the assembly and then left after an hour with the Dress still incomplete. The man said he only got paid by the hour. We tried to contact Angi afterwards and they said they would come back to finish the job. It has been 20 day and no one has shown up. We were forced to demand a refund and assemble dresser ourselves. This middle man contract through Angi is horrible.

I got The worst and laziest person

I got the worst and laziest person to come and assemble my dresser. today I was poked by a screw under my son dresser after the bottom seem loose so I went ahead and pulled them all out and realized the guy from Angi did a horrible botched job. I’m not sure if he didn’t have the proper tools or just wanted to rush but under my son dressers all the screws are bent and one is completely off causing me to cut myself

You can’t get any one through chat or on the phone and they say they’re 24 hours. SMH. I am writing to express my severe dissatisfaction with the service I recently received through Angi, which not only resulted in incomplete and damaging work but has also escalated into an issue of harassment. Here are the key concerns regarding the technician and subsequent harassment: Incomplete Work: The technician arrived at my home at 9:00 AM and left between 12:30/12:45 PM without completing even one of the three dressers. Unprofessional Behavior: Before leaving, the technician claimed he was taking a smoke break but never returned. Poor Assembly and Damage: Upon inspecting the partial assembly of the first dresser, I noticed it was not done correctly. When I pointed this out, the technician disassembled the dresser and left the pieces scattered across the floor. In the process, he caused irreparable damage by putting a hole in the dresser, leaving it unusable. Missing Hardware: The technician took some of the extra screws with him, making it even more challenging to resolve the issue. Harassment: Following this incident, I began receiving harassing text messages and calls from a number associated with Angi. I have taken screenshots of these messages and calls, and I have filed a police report regarding this matter. This situation has left me with three incomplete dressers, one irreparably damaged, and ongoing stress due to harassment from a source linked to your service. I am requesting: A full refund for the Angi service due to the technician's failure to complete the job, unprofessional behavior, and damage caused. A full refund for the damaged dresser to cover the loss incurred. This includes the price of the dresser, the price of Angi services and the price of shipping. Immediate action to address and resolve the harassment issue, including an investigation into the source of the messages and calls. Please respond promptly to confirm how Angi plans to resolve these serious concerns.

dont pay for furniture assembly

whatever you do listen to me angi is the worst company ever to deal with the whole thing was a hassle i felt like i was running in circles with them i paid for 3 pieces of furniture to be assembled and only had one scheduled the one that was scheduled did not even get completed the guy came and assembled 2 out of the 3 piece dresser set because his "drill died" we agreed on 12:30 the next day and he still did not show up so i called and followed up he told me he was busy and that he would let me know when he was coming he never called so i let about 4 hours go by before following up again he told me it would take him about an hour and he would be here to assemble the laster dresser he still did not show up so now i've had to go through all this hassle between walmart and angi when it comes to getting a refund back for all of the assembly services long story short just order the furniture and call someone to install it this ended up being the better deal for me i ended up getting my furniture installed by a local company for less of the price

Don't pay for assembly just hire a little kid fro.

Handyman was 3 days late. Talked on the phone several times while working. Went outside and and talked on the phone for about an hour, came inside, collected his tools and said "I have to leave, I'll be back in a little bit". Never returned. Left piles of wood and screws all over my new bedspread. Dresser was left half assembled.
