It uses Bluetooth of another Apple devices so it really only helps you pin point a missing object within about 5 feet of you’re surrounded by devices. If you use it for pets or children or devices you might lose outside or in public places it will likely only be helpful in alerting you when that item/being has left your side but even then it’s minutes later. Why they make dog collars or kid bracelets to hold these is beyond me.

Please be aware that these are not GPS devices. They will only show you where they last pinged at. And in rural areas you may go hours without an update. That was a little disappointing, but not a fault of the product. I just wasn't aware of how they worked.

So far, I have used only one of these Air Tags. This set was purchased on 11/30/24. The one I am using has already given me a low battery warning. From all I have read, batteries should last approximately one year. This one didn't even last a full month! Very disappointed in both Apple and Walmart. I hope I can expect better life from the other three air tag batteries.

I tested this and it works well. But it chimes so whomever has my property can find and remove the AirTag. Also, it requires me to have my location services turned on which I normally keep my location to myself. I will likely use the AirTag with an iPhone or iPad I don't use daily and only when I'm searching for my AirTags.

These appetizers are awesome! If you lose something, the next person that finds it they will give you automatically the location where they where it is and they don’t know it! it’s all powered by computer. Apple has really gone far to power this device.

Very reliable and accurate - makes finding things very easy - would highly recommend! You can attach it to your keys and when you can’t find them, open the Find My app on your iPhone and it will indicate what direction and how far the keys are (they have to be within the signal range) When you get close you can click on the beep button so the AirTag can beep making it easier to locate. Have used it many times to locate my keys - awesome device

Love my AirTags! Bought the 4 pack specifically for tracking mine and my partner’s luggage and carry-ons for a long trip to Hawaii. There were two plane switches, so we wanted to ensure our bags made it to the correct airports… You can also utilize a feature where your phone will notify you when the luggage is close - eliminating the need to stand and wait around the conveyor belt at baggage claim!

Quick and easy process. Better deal online than in the store. The Tags aren't as precise as I had hoped because it didn't help me locate my mom in a Walmart. It just showed her as always near me. That said, they will be good enough for travel and locating lost luggage.

My son kept losing things. First his wallet (more than once) and then his backpack!! Bought a wallet that has an insert for apple tag. Tracks the location even in the house. Love it! Put them in the kids nice gym bags and anything we don’t want to lose.

Price was advertised online and app…went to store, in stock, told me they wouldn’t honor the price to purchase at counter…still had to place an in app order for pick up. 🙄 did so, (not cashiers fault) and still had to wait 2 hours and come back to pick up order. What a hassle. Product is great.
