Best tires ever

I have had these tires for almost three years, they barley show wear. They do great in the rain and do well off road. I have a 06 Tundra and pull and haul a lot of material. I believe the tires also helped with my breaking, they grasp the road yet rides smooth and quite. I also have a set on my 08 honda ridgeline. When I need a new set which I believe will be many years down the road I will definitely get another set on both vehicles. Scott S

Treadwear not as good as the old LTX M/S- Not impressed

After 12 months and about 22,000 miles, two of these M/S2 tires only have about 4/32" of tread left on them and are now dangerous to drive in the rain. Nice even wear, but still only minimal tread left. Yes alignment was performed when installing the tires and at about 6 months. Rotations performed about every 8K miles. These are 10 ply Load Range E tires and I wouldn't expect them to reach the advertised 70K treadwear warranty but they didn't even make it halfway....going to my dealer tomorrow to see if the treadwear warranty is worth more than the paper its printed on. My three previous sets of LTX M/S tires easily made it 50K miles.

Correct Tire LTX M?S 2

The correct tires is LTX M/S 2. The first time I registered the tires I used the wrong tire number. This is my second set of Michelin tires on my truck. I am pleased with the performance of Michelin tires. I tow a trailer more than I run the truck empry. I do not have any things that are not great.

Just got 4 LTX MS2

Live out in the country in MN so all types of weather plus some gravel roads. Put LTX MS2 on my 2009 F-350 after factory tires wore out. Truck with camper in the box and trailer behind weighs 15000 LBs so good tires are a requirement and 900 and some reviews tells me what I need to know about these tires. Hope to see 70000 miles on these tires

Second set in a row

I drive my truck everyday putting between 18 and 20,000 miles a year on my truck. I don't haul a trailer, but I often have a load in the bed of my truck. This is my second set of MSs in a row. The previous set lasted four years without any trouble. They were getting near the wear bars when I ended up with a utility knife blade through the tread of one tire. This provided me the inspiration to replace my tires. I couldn't come up with a single reason not to replace them with the same tires. By nature I prefer to try new things when the opportunity arises, but the positive experience with the first set of these tires trumped my desire for change. I have also had a set of AT2s which I loved, but they wore out too quickly, in my opinion. While the AT2s were great in the mud and off the beaten path, they didn't have near the lifespan of the MS2s. Also, the MS2s are quieter. I have heard that there are two types of AT2: 1) P-rated and 2) LT-rated. I had the P-rated. I have heard the LT-rated have a longer life, but I couldn't find them in my size (265/70/16). If I had found them, I might have gone that route. All that aside, the MS2 is an outstanding tire. Cheers.

A Definite Recomend

Hands down the best set of tires I've ever owned. Excellent traction and grip through 3 Wisconsin winters now, and no signs of wear. They provide a comfortable and quiet ride on all dry terrain. If you take care of these tires, they will definitely take care of you!

Great handling & smooth on the freeway

Great tire on the freeway with quick response in handling. Replaced factory tires with new Michelin LTX M/S2 on my GMC 2010 Sierra pickup with 53000 miles. Waiting to see how they handle in the rain & snow in Michigan. Great replacement tire for the smooth ride on Mich roads which are in poor condition. I wii update this posting when it snows!

No other tire!

Smooth, Quiet, Tracks great, Great in heavy rain here in Florida, Snow, I don't deal with it. Best tire I ran on my truck yet. I ran the old LT-4s on an older truck and they where great but these M/S2s are even better. Even lite off road with our camper in tow they performed perfectly. I say buy them unless you are off road a bunch in deep mud and snow.

Great Upgrade for my Truck

2011 F150 screw 4X4 As with any new vehicle, I couldn't wait for the OEM tires to wear down. knew it would ride better on Michelins. They're great tires. Grippy, Quiet, and Cushioned. I've had over thirty personal and business vehicles since 1976 and every one of them, eventually, gets Michelin tires. ALWAYS an upgrade, no matter what brand is on the car/truck. LTX's on all my trucks. The ride and wear are uncomparable to other brands. M/S2's are great in mud and awesome in snow. 20K miles on this set now and they still look new. Know why Michelins cost a little more.... Cuz' they're worth it. As Always, Thank you Michelin

Great ride for my Ford ...

Great ride for my Ford F-150! I had a lot of issues with my O/E tires which seems to have been corrected by replacing with Michelin. I have been parchasing Michelin tires ever since replacing my O/E tires on a '76 Country Squire ( Ford ) station wagon. This heavy tank drove like it was attached to the road with bungee cords-lots of sway and rocking. A tech advised me to get a set of Michelins because they were constructed with extra side-wall stability. I could not believe the difference in the ride and stability your tires made! Ever since this experience I have always replaced my tires with Michelin and have NEVER been disappointed. You get what you pay for, and Michelin has always delivered for me based on safety, mileage, handling, and comfort. There must be a reason so many auto manufacturers select your tires as O/E for their mid to upper level lines. I can honestly say I have NEVER had an issue with one of your tires in my 30+ years of usage. I am 66 years old, have a degree in chemistry and was born with greese under my nails as my late father was a farmer and a mechanic. I know what I'm talking about!!!
