Best truck tire on the Market

Best tire i've ever Run on! I Have 3 heavy load vans these tires preform but ride smooth handel the weight and wear better than any tire i've ever used to date. And i've had every tire manf. on my vehecial's through out the years being in the flooring buisness. Take it from me Michelin tires are on my personal cars and my fleet of vans. I bought a set of ...

I bought a set of Michelin's for my car and was so impressed with them that I went out and got a set for my truck. Immediately I noticed the difference in ride comfort and smoothness. I took a trip and also was pleased that I had an increase in my gas mileage of almost 20%!! I did not believe it myself. But I ws able to go almost 75 miles further on a tank of gas than before. Only thing that I changed was the tires!! I will never buy another set of tires other than Michelin's for all of my vehicles. The warrant was just as impressive. Thank you Michelin!!

Great tire

I have a set of Michelin LTX M/S2's on a Chevy 1 ton dual rear wheel and these are the best tire I've ever owned on a truck great handling and ride. I tow a 35' 5th wheel with my truck and I have no problem with braking on dry or wet pavement, a excellent tire.

least expensive tire available

I have owned several tire brands in the past. I have also owned a set of LTX M/S on another vehicle. When it was time for a new set on my truck it was an easy decision. If you consider ride quality, fuel economy and tire cost per mile. There is no tire that can compete with the LTX.

OK traction but poor tread life.

I bought my LTX M/S2 tires in Sept. 2014 and currently have about 39000 miles on them. Lincoln's head is just now showing so they only have a few thousand miles to go. No where near the 70K. Wet and dry traction has been good but not fantastic. Snow traction is OK as long as it's not deep snow then forget it, 6 inches and it's tough going. I didn't check the pressure monthly but my truck has a TPMS so they were never run low and I rotated tires several times. I expected better from a name like Michelin and not sure I'll buy another set of them.

Great tires!

We have always purchased Michelin Tires for all of our autos. I have this model on my Lexus and it drives like a dream. These tires last beautifully and wear very evenly. We drive to the mountains all the time for skiing and I've never had to put on chains...

80 Thousand Miles STRONG

I used Michelin tires because they perform as promised. Bought 4 tires for my Tundra and 4 tires for my Honda pilot. Both got over 75,000 miles of rugged use on them. I have a blueberry farm in down east Maine that sees, mud, gravel, and lots of snow. We are .75 miles in to the blueberry fields and have never gotten stuck. I travel 320 miles one way every 4 weeks to Rhode Island and the highway ride is as good a performance as anything. Quiet, sure grip, and responsive. I ask myself , why doesn't everybody but Michelins? I'm fussy, these tires are fantastic, period. Michelin strong! Thanks.

LTX M/S2 by far the best

The Michelin LTX M/S2 is the best tire I have ever put on my expedition. I drive in all different kinds of terrain and I always get great traction. I have a house up north that on a old logging trail that is pretty rough. And I have never gotten stuck yet. I go thru fairly deep mud and up one really steep hill and these tires get me thru all of that with no problem. I even went up a very sandy steep hill without my four wheel drive on and it did it with no problem. Also these tires are amazing in the snow. They wear great too. I got 75000 out of my last set, with proper maintenance of course. I would strongly recommend these to anyone.

Dependable and Long Lasting Tire

I use these tires primarily in the city to get to school but I also go on road trips from time to time. It is nice to have peace of mind especially on road trips that these tires are not going to give me any trouble. I've put over 20,000 miles on them and the tread on them still looks new. I feel very safe when using these in the rain and snow knowing that I still have plenty of tread and not having to worry about hydro planing. All in all a great tire and I would recommend this tire to anybody!

Good treadwear

With just over 50k miles on the tires and being 3 years old, I had to replace one of the four original tires. The one tire I replaced (with only 5k miles) was due to a micro tear on the sidewall that produced a slow leak. Too bad, not covered under warranty.... go figure. These tires have excellent treadwear, but be careful with hitting or rubbing the sidewalls against curbs or rocks. What provides for a smooth and quiet ride, also translate to thinner sidewalls to absorb all the bumps and turning force. Would I recommend them, sure! I drive 70% in dry weather, 30% in wet and snow conditions. Tires work well in both conditions and I'm pleased with the treadwear of the tires so far. Hoping to get another 20k miles as there is about 30% treadwear left on the tires. Just avoid curb rash!
