Best Light Truck Tire

I have been running the LTX M/S series for several years. I now have a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7L and with over 70,000 miles I just bought my second set of these. The confidence it brings when driving on wet or snow roads is unreal. I have had to do panic stopping on the highway in traffic and even when wet the antilock brakes don't engage. Snow is fun as it's like the road is dry and not slippery, I laugh at other SUV's that spin taking off at an intersection. Best tire I have ever owned; they are pricey but you get what you pay for applies here!

Best Light Truck Tire in the Industry

These light truck tires are the smoothest riding, longest lasting, quietest driving tires that I have ever driven on. They increased my fuel mileage 1.5 miles per gallon over the original equipment tires that came on my 2002 Ford F-250 Super Duty. These tires can take abuse and still do well if you slip up and miss a tire rotation or skip an alignment one year. I don't recommend missing either, but if you do, you not doomed as far as wiping out a pair of tires. Highest cost tire initially... lowest cost tire by the end of their life!

In my search to buy new ...

In my search to buy new tires, I researched tires high and low, read reviews, listened to friends and queried tire dealers before making my selection. The tires that came on my Dodge Ram 2500 diesel when new were Michelin tires. I figured that Dodge engineers knew best which tires would most impress a new truck buyer with handling, ride and comfort. I had experienced excellent tire life with the old set of tires so it became clear to me to replace them with the same tire that had been of my truck for the past 6 years. I like them!

Worth the Money

I was hesitant at first to spend the extra money on these tires, but so far it seems like it was the right decision. These tires ride great, are super quiet, and have eliminated the squeling noise I would hear when I cut the wheel sharp on my silverado. Worth every Penny. I will definitly be looking at Michelin tires when my wife needs new tires here soon!

Wear and fuel efficiancy ...

Wear and fuel efficiancy are hard to calculate at this stage since the tires only have about 1000 miles on them. They still look new though but I have not noticed any real difference in economy since they are on a 1 ton deisel. Over all I am very happy with this tire and would recomend it. Nice ride, good stopping and handling, very confortable ride.

Great Ride

I have had the Michelin LTX ms2 on my 2006 Nissan Armoda for 18 months and 20,000 miles. I just returned from a 2000 mile trip and could not have been happier with the smooth ride. After 20,000 miles it appears I will get a lot of miles from this set of tires.

I love this tire!!

I am pleased with how my truck (3/4 ton) handles while towing a 10K pound 5th wheel trailer. This is my second set of this tire even though I was not pleased with the tread wear of the first set. I think if I will change my driving style and to rotate these tires regularly, I will experience better life on this set.

Worth the Price and More

Putting quiet, smooth running, long lasting, 4 season rubber on a 5000 lb SUV is a challenge. At 65,000 miles I did lots of tire research and decided to buy the Michelin MS2s in the winter of 2012. I had wanted them the last time around but the price put me off at that time. Bad decision then, good decision now. These tires run quietly, balance-up very well, and have been superb in heavy rain and New Hampshire snow. Continuing to do rotation at every oil change, I expect to significantly better the 33K miles I got on the previous 2 sets of tires.

Great Tires

These are the best tires I ever had! I use my Jeep Liberty every day and I replaced my stock tires with the LTX MS/2 and the difference was remarkable. I've driven through mud, rocks and 2+ feet of snow effortlessly. On the highway they are smooth and quiet and balance well. I'll never consider anything else, simply put these are the best light truck tires in existence!

Great Tires Only Michelins for Me

I have had the LTX ATX and LTX MS originals on my 99 chevy pickup. Both great tires. Currently the LTX MS tires are still on my truck with 6/32 left and over 60,000 miles. I put the LTX MS2 on my wifes 06 Tahoe for this reason. We live in the Rocky Mountains in a ski town and I prefer one tire that can handle snow, ice and summer, these do it all in great fashion. I love these tires in the winter and they are quiet on the summer roads. I will never buy anything but Michelins from now on. I did put another brand on the Tahoe first and they did not last the expected mileage, these have done great with over a year of use I still have many more to go. In my experience Michelins go well beyond the warranteed mileage if rotated properly. My Father had a set that went over 80,000, Wow, can you imagine! Value is in the mileage, pay alittle more now and enjoy not worrying about performance or replacing tires for many years.
