Tires fell WAY short of the Exp Mileage

I bought these tires as the dealer told me I should easily get 70,000. After faithfully rotating my tires, after 40,000 miles I took in to have them rotated and the dealer told me not to even bother, as the tread was too worn. I thought Michelin were to be among the BEST, but now know otherwise. I was allowed a little difference(not much, compared to the price I paid) or allowance to buy another pair, but why should I? Very disappointed in MICHELIN...

I was actually glad when my old tires wore out on my Suburban so I could replace them with the LTX M/S2. I feel much safer and confident in getting to where I am going. I have not yet driven in the snow with them, but I will get a chance this winter!

    Simply the best!

Got these for my 2005 Ford F-150 SC 2x4. Great dry traction, handles heavy loads, good braking. Just completed a 5000 mile trip from TX to ME and return, mostly through torrential downpours and traction was rock stready through heavy rain and standing water. I wouldn't consider any other tire. Pay a little more and get the quality you need. These tires are worth it!

    Great tire!

I bought these for my wife's Suburban after previously having a set on a Seqouia. I don't think I'll ever buy another brand again. They ride smooth and road noise is minimal. They do well in the snow and slush of Northern Indiana and seem to be wearing well. They are a little more expensive than most, but you definitely get what you pay for!

    Great tire for my 4Runner

I have in my 4runner a full set of the LTX M/S2 and these tires are great. The handling in the highway is superb as well in rough conditions like snowy roads. In winter time I take to the NC mountains and I've never had a problem. These tires give me the peace of mind all the time. Also, the look they give to my 4Runner is great. Overall, I love this product.

    Best tires money can buy

This is the second set if the LTX MS tires we have purchased with this set being the improved MS2 version. Both sets have been on a Yukon XL with our current set on a 2007 4wd. Tire wear after almost 40,000 miles still has more tread than most of the competition does when new so I would say wear is excellent. The tires are quiet, ride nice and for what we used the truck for...everyday in town, hwy and towing, they handle just fine too. Even under hard braking I have never felt like the tires were at the edge of breaking loose. I know in a review I am supposed to list the pro's and cons but there really isn't any cons I can come up with for my use. I guess if there was a cin, it would be these are not great "off road tires". Then again that ...

    Disappointed

I'm very disappointed in the mileage of these tires, I put them on with wheel alignment, and rotation every 6,000 miles in August of 2010. Mileage when I put them on was 31641 and today the mileage with little tread showing is 68957 that is 37316 miles which is 53% of the 70K miles advertised. I'm 75 and have never "hot-rodded" these tires, I just want to go A to B. Wednesday I will be putting another manufacturer's tire on my Avalanche. I just wanted Michelin to know why I'm leaving your company after many years as a customer. This is my first disappointment with Michelin in 30 years. I just thought it was unfair for me to just bad mouth Michelin. You are the people that can do something about this problem. The price for these tires was do...

Michelin is the ONLY Tire to Buy!

I switched to Michelin tires on both our vehicles about 10 years ago. I have had many folks ask me why & quite frankly the answers are very simple. It is simple math. Yes you may pay more for Michelins but if you do the math of how many more miles you will get on a set, the increased gas mileage, unreal stopping efficiency when needed in all types of weather, the new mileage rating on certain tires, the change a flat benefit at no charge why would you not invest the best you can buy for the money for the most important feature of your vehicle, the tires you and your family ride on? Prior to Michelin I had many other brands but not one comes close to the overall performance of Michelins, Period. Now stating that you must ensure you follow th...

    Brilliant tyres

I bought the LTx m/s2 soon after I had the truck as the ones from the manufacturer were not satisfactory now after just over 45000 mls on these tires and many miles on different conditions including the windy coast rds of Mendocino there are many mls left on them as well as all the manufacturers claims being more than just promises. I don't think I will be changing my truck soon but any form of transport I will only go with Michelin tyres

    My perfect ride is back

When I first purchased my Explorer it came with a well known tire brand. Then there was a major recall and Ford was replacing all tires free of charge. That was when I first had Michelin tires. I couldn't belive the difference of handling. When those ran down I replaced them with a different brand. Don't know why I did. This time I decided to go back to Michelin and I am so happy I did. These LTX M/S 2 tires are really so much better than the tires from before. I will never stray from Michelin again. My car is 13 years old and with only a tire change it drives like new.

Feels like truck is attached to road!!!

I bought a Nissan Frontier truck and it came with the most horrible tires ever. I thought there was something wrong with the truck. Then I put these LTX MS2 tires on. WOW!!! The truck handles like it's on rails! I literally feel like I am attached to the road. Stopping also is great. No issues with air pressure loss. A+++

Highest quality tires I've ever purchase

I depend on Michelin tires performance for all 5 of my vehicles. You can not beat the quality performance. I have actually got more miles than recommended on my own personal vehicles tires and know I will be replacing them with a new set of Michelin's in the near future. The tread of the tire is what interested us to buy them in 2006 and now have them on all my 5 vehicles. Each tire I have purchased has yet to fail me in the weather (wet or dry) and feel best quality decision I have made for my family.

I bought a set of Michelin's for my car and was so impressed with them that I went out and got a set for my truck. Immediately I noticed the difference in ride comfort and smoothness. I took a trip and also was pleased that I had an increase in my gas mileage of almost 20%!! I did not believe it myself. But I ws able to go almost 75 miles further on a tank of gas than before. Only thing that I changed was the tires!! I will never buy another set of tires other than Michelin's for all of my vehicles. The warrant was just as impressive. Thank you Michelin!!

    Excellent Tire!

Good riding, long-lasting tire. The exterior allows for black-wall or raised white letters (which I prefer) because it gives nice clean look to my vehicle. I have always gotten 40K+ miles while with other brand tires, usually around 36K. My last 5 sets of tires have been Micheln LTX M/S (3 sets) and Micheln LTX M/S2 (2 sets) They are quality tires and worth the extra in price. My only complaint would be the road noise on certain types of pavement. Other brands I have used don't even compare! With these tires I usually get 1-2 mpg better gas mileage. They are good on high-speed open highways as well as off road.

    excellent tire for my 2010 f-150 fx4

reviewed and reviewed until i finally made my decision, glad i did. have about 500 miles on them and ride was up to my expectations. i am anxious to tow my travel trailer with them in the spring to see how they do. this is my first time owning michelin tires and wont be my last. i know they are a little pricey but i think it will pay off in the long run.

16 year old can't wear 'em out! Go LTX !

Best. Light truck tires ever! We always buy Michelin tires no matter the competors price! They have saved our lives on all types of road surfaces and all kinds of weather conditions! CanT ask for better quality and now that our 16year old has started driving we know he's going to be as safe as possible riding on his new set of LTX michelins on our old four wheel drive suburban! Thanks Michelin for keeping our family safe on the road for over thirty years and counting!

    80000+ miles

Always been a fan of Michelin tires and my past set has kept my faith. I do a lot of driving, highway and county roads. This last set of LTX M/S got me 84000 miles. Only reason I needed to replace is I had a bearing go bad and the passenger side wore on the outside too far before I caught it. Still probably had another 10000-15000 miles in them except for that. Great tires. Continue to be a fan. Hope the LTX M/S2s are just as reliable.

    A convinced Michelin buyer!

These tires are absolutely the best of any Michelin tires I've bought in the past. I've got two trucks. One is an 1999 Ford and this one is a 2012 GMC Sierra. I have always bought Michelin tires with no regrets. These tires I just bought are the most expensive I have ever purchased and I was absolutely amazed at the comfort, handling and stopping ability of these tires. I have purchased 3 sets of Michelin tires back to back and not once have I ever been dissappointed. They always wear evenly from side to side and I'm estatic over the ones I just purchased.
