These are a Must Have!!

These tires are great! I love them! I'm getting even wear and better fuel mileage then my previous tires! I will be recommending Michelin tires to all my friends and family! They may cost a little more then the competitors but you get what you pay for with the reliability, comfort, and long lasting life of the tires! I will be a Michelin customer for life!

I WENT FROM A SET OF MICH ...

I WENT FROM A SET OF MICH M/S 4 PLY THAT I WAS NOT AT ALL HAPPY WITH TO THE SAME TIRE IN A "E" SERIES (10 PLY). THEY SEEM TO BE WORKING OUT MUCH BETTER. OUR FORD EXPEDITION IS JUST TOO HEAVY FOR THIS TIRE IN A 4 PLY. BUT THE 10 PLY SEEMS TO WORK GREAT, AND STILL RIDES GOOD.

Great handling & smooth on the freeway

Great tire on the freeway with quick response in handling. Replaced factory tires with new Michelin LTX M/S2 on my GMC 2010 Sierra pickup with 53000 miles. Waiting to see how they handle in the rain & snow in Michigan. Great replacement tire for the smooth ride on Mich roads which are in poor condition. I wii update this posting when it snows!

Michelin is my trucks best contact!

I live in the Appalachian mountains where most paved roads are curves and two lane, therefore tires need good traction. Tires also tend to wear faster on this type roads, but this is my second set of Michelin tires and both have gone approximately sixty thousand miles each. They are smooth riding and handle great.

I love Michelin Tires

Put my new Michelin LTX tires on my Xterra last week - the ride is much smoother and quieter. Granted, my old OEM tires had 76K miles on them, but I still replaced with Michelin. Had the same tires on my 2003 Jeep Cherokee...loved them then too. Gives me a good sense of security in wet and snowy weather conditions. We are a Michelin family - have them on all three of our vehicles and my dads!

LTX M/S2 by far the best

The Michelin LTX M/S2 is the best tire I have ever put on my expedition. I drive in all different kinds of terrain and I always get great traction. I have a house up north that on a old logging trail that is pretty rough. And I have never gotten stuck yet. I go thru fairly deep mud and up one really steep hill and these tires get me thru all of that with no problem. I even went up a very sandy steep hill without my four wheel drive on and it did it with no problem. Also these tires are amazing in the snow. They wear great too. I got 75000 out of my last set, with proper maintenance of course. I would strongly recommend these to anyone.

Beware - Gas mileage dropped over 13%

The LTX M/S 2's are the 5th set of Michelins I have purchased for my various vehicles - 3 other sets beng LTX M/S and the orginal Michelin A/S tires, that these new LTX M/S 2's replaced. They went on a 2010 Ford F150 Crew Cab that I use for business. The priginal A/S tires lasted 92,000 miles which I thought was good. As you can tell by the year and the mileage, I put between 45,000- 50,000 miles per year on the vehicle so a good set of tires is important and I always thought the Michelin tires to be the best value - lowest cost per mile to run. I wanted to replace the A/S tires with another set of A/S tires but was told by the dealer that they were "unavailable". He spoke of the LTX M/S 2's so I went ahead and got the set. Never did I realize that there would be an affect on gas mileage. I keep very detailed records of my miles and fuel consumed and, to the date of install of the new tires my fuel mileage, under the same driving condions, dropped over 13% or 2.7 MPG. Assuming the same tread wear on these that I had on the orginal A/S tires , my fuel cost is going to increase by $2200 over the life of the tire. Any value gained by the longer trad life is lost five-fold due to the decreased fuel efficiency. Unfortuneatley I did not realize the effect untril after the 30 day warranty ran out or I would have returned the tires. I expected a slight change in the fuel efficiency with the more aggressive tread , but not anything near this drastic.

This tire keeps me safe on the road.

My tires keep me stuck to the road, even if I think their going to slip I can feel the benefits of the tread design perform and keep me safe, even around corners. I can tell that the 3D sipes in the tread also add surprising snow traction. It feels like I'm riding on actual snow tires in the winter.

not as smooth as the other two sets

This is my 3rd set of these tires and they are in use on same car. I have used michelin tires since 2003 but these new tires have a bumpy feel. The retailer says they can't find anything wrong but I can tell from years of using this same brand that something is wrong with one of the rear tires. The car shakes and the ride is not pleasant. Don't know if the quality has decreased. I hope the retailer will find the problem because I can't believe there is a better tire than Michelin.

jury is still out

Put these on my 07 Tundra at about 80k mi as a third set. First two sets were Michelin M/S same as OE. Mostly interstate miles but have an off road camp as well. Looking forward to longer wear with these as I was more than satisfied with the M/S. Traction is better. Had one replaced owing to balance issue. Old M/S seemed to be superior in ride and gas mileage. Would likely go back to the M/S for the next set, it will always be Michelin!
