harsh ride

I have used these tires (the original not the MS2) on 2 s10 pickups, 2 s10 blazers, 2 Mitsubishi Monteros and currently have them on my 05 Tahoe---all these were great!! BUT the new MS2 has a very harsh ride due to being XL rated. Also the MS2 does not have secondary sipes on the lower tread supports which give extra wet traction when the tread wears down thus giving longer tire life. The driving performance is still excellent but harsh and back jarring whether at 35psi or 40pse. When the pressure is lowered so is your gas mileage. I always ran the old MS at 40psi with no complaints.

Awesome tire, incredible wear.

This is an amazing wearing light truck tire. Set was purchased for a 2008 Dodge 3500 Dually and it commutes atleast 10 miles of rock daily, and with already 8,500 miles on the set. Rides smooth compared to the previous set of tire that were on it. Use in livestock fields as well with no problems with traction, very satisfied with the tires.

I LOVE my Michelin's

My father got me started on buying Michelin's many years ago. I have tried a couple of other brands but I have seen the ERROR of my ways and returned to " MY MICHEILNS"!! They are on my Expedition and my wife's Caravan. We have 5 children and safety is very important for all of us. Thanks.

Great wet traction and very low noise!!!

I have had these tires in my 2003 Highlander Limited for about 2 weeks now and already have around 3000 miles on them as I travel the state for work. The tires have great wet traction performance (always a must in the rainy season in Florida) and are extremely quite at highway speeds. The tires I replaced had not been a noise problem to me at all, but I was surprised the difference with the LTX M/S2. These tires were competitively priced with the others I was considering but a bit higher per tire. Thus far I would say it has definitely been worth the little extra as I have been wholly impressed with this tire. From my previous Michelin experience on my wife's car I may be hard pressed to switch to another company so long as these tires hold up for the long haul.

Great Tires

These are the best tires I've ever owned! Having been buying tires for 39 years, these are by far the smoothest, comfortable, and best wearing tire. They may cost a bit more than their competitors, but it's well worth the small extra cost. As the old adage goes, you get what you pay for!

Fantastic preformance

Having towed the same heavy trailer for 480K miles, these are the best preformance tires for mileage, road/ride issues, and traction. Higher speed interstate driving, with sometimes more weight that is advised... This is the only tire manufacture that hangs together until the tread is gone. Oh, not quite correct, the OEM tires had no issues, but only lasted less than 30K miles. Negatives... These may cost more up front by a $10 ro $20 bill but when they last twice as long cost per mile is far less that what ever comes close. I've gone through other mfg's and one I had 14 tires replaced under road hazard, #14 did $3000 body damage to the box of the truck. They all went, replaced with LTX MS and never looked back. The big chain that was road hazarding the lesser brand asked me if I ever had Michelin, and if I had issues them. Yes I had them and never had a problem with them for roughly 70K miles. The guys comment was Michelin has very few ride issues and only build "best" tires, not good, better, and best. These LTX MS2 are not like the factory original "A/" series tires that folks around here do not like due to lack of traction. What I want for my winter selection is studable winter tires. When Michelin comes out with those I have a set of 4. When will they be out??

Tires that last forever

This is my second set of these tires. The ones that I just replaced had 120,000 miles on them yea thats right 120,000 miles and they still had 1/4 tread on them and they are on a work van that gets a lot of miles. Also I only had one flat but a couple of tires have nails in them that have been there for many miles.

Fine tires

I have had other brands of tires in my life but Michelin is the best tire I have ever purchased. The rubber is different from other manufacturers and the sipes truly go all the way down to the bottom of the tread life. What engineering! I just put my second set of LTX MS (The new ones are MS2) They ride very nice and have the stability I'll need when the time comes. (I got 75,000 miles on the first set. I could have gone farther. I am looking forward to snow in the Sierra. I have Michelin tires on my semi as well. Same reasons. Michelin. As good as tires get. You get what you pay for.

My Michelin tires rock!

I'm a commuter in a 6cyl Dodge Dakota, these tires make the truck look sweet as the size are large for this small truck. The tires make for a smooth and quiet commute. When I bought this truck a year ago from a small dealer, the tires were what sold my dad and I to get the truck! My family and I have been Michelin people for as long as I've been around :). One of my cousins baby pictures he was in a Michelin tire! Haha! Thanks Michelin!
