After my first few years of driving, I purchased my first set of MICHELINS. Although the ride and longevity impressed me, I did succumb to competitors on two occasions. Price was a factor. For my last several vehicles, I've stuck with a company that, to me, has proven engineering excellence and loyalty to improvement. When I'm on the highway with my family of 7, in rain snow or ice, the last thing on my mind are my LTX MS/2. And for that, while you are competively priced, money is No object. Michelin is the ONLY brand I use and have used. I just replaced a set that I put 70,000 miles on. These tires are the best. I know I am in great hands in any condition with my Michelin tires. Safe, tough, I am a loyal customer and will always be!. Thank you!

My 2009 Ford Escape came with Michelins (I think Latitude type). I almost got 80k miles out of them (actually 78k). If I hadn't missed a rotation, I'm sure I would have squeezed out 80k. I had no wear issues with the first set and was very pleased with them. Therefore, I wanted my next set to be Michelins. I got my new set of 4 yesterday and they are the LTX MS2's. Extremely smooth and quite ride and dealer was great. I'm sure I'll get 80k out of them too even though they're rated as 70 if I stay on top of rotation. So far so good!

I have a full size van that has a wheelchair lift. These tires are good for heavy loads. I love the way these tires handle and last for a long time. I have bought these tires in the past and will only buy these tires for this vehicle and for any other vehicle we will purchase in the future.

We only run Michelins on our SUVs because we know we can count on the smoothest and quietest ride from out LTX M/S2s. When my wife and kids are driving, I have confidence that these are the safest tires on the market and I get 70,000-80,000 miles from a set!

on an older Yukon we used the older tire modle the LTX M/S and were thrilled. Now that we have a newer Yukon that needed tires I without hesitation purchased the LTX M/S2. With my first drive we were going to be equally thrilled. Just as the I expected the tire was quite and rides very nice. Traction in all "noraml" conditions have been all we expected and more. Now, granted this is not a true mudd and snow tire but then again most of us do not drive off road in mud nor drive in unplowed roads or if they are unplowed they will only have a few inches of snow waiting for the plow to come back through again. And I must say for all normal situations this tire as been very very good. I can not speak to the wear on the M/S2's however is there are as good (they are supposed to be better) as the older M/S's I am expecting great wear life. On our old truck we have 35,000 on the tires with city, hwy and snow driving and the tires still looked like new and in most case still had more tread remaining than much of the "new" tires you could buy. If you are considering this tire for real world driving you will not be disapointed. And although they are a bit of an investment up front consides these 2 points.....your car may have the greates brake and traction control system but are always limited by the traction offered by the tires, these are very good for traction. Next, when you consider the wear life of these tires verses the compitition (especially budget tires) and veres thier wear life and price....the LTX M/S's, in the long run will prove to be among the best value available.

I have over 100 vehicles in a rural fleet; more than half of them traveling on highways and on gravel back roads. Whenever I change from another tire brand to Michelin, the drivers vocally praise the improvement in ride, handling and quietness -- they're that much better! Yeah, Michelin tires cost more, but I don't worry about the tires on our vehicles when they're Michelin. Previous "other-brand" tires have had abnormal wear patterns, frequent flats and even tread separation, loud noises (is that the tire or a bearing going bad?), and didn't handle well. But even with continuous alignment issues of more than half of our vehicles (a manufacturer design flaw), the Michelin tires wear exceptionally well and compensate beautifully. Flats are a fluke with Michelin and usually require running over something larger than a big bolt -- flats just aren't common with Michelin, period. And forget about tread separation! It doesn't happen. And the Michelins are very smooth and quiet -- and handle well in just about any weather condition. They are worth the extra money -- even when I buy about 200 tires per year! I won't buy anything but Michelin now and my drivers are quite happy about that.

I purchased Michelin's for my luxury car so when it came to buying them for my SUV it was a natural choice. I get great mileage with these tires and super traction as I anticpated. Even on the rain, snow, and ice covered roads in the Midwest. I drive with confidence in my tires. I recommend Michelin's to everyone I can. My experience after sliding off the pavement into rim deep mud and then pulling out without spinning one moment convences most people about the great traction the tires have. This is not the tire Michelin recommended for my vehicle. It is an upgrade to my old LTX's that went 120,000 miles without a problem. I just wanted to keep Michelin Tire on this vehicle sue to the reliability and durability of their product. I have found them to be a worthy replacement and a quieter tire than the previous model. If they go 100,000 I will be very happy.

What can I say? I've been riding on Michelin tires for 40+ years on all type of vehicles - SUV's, small sedans, large sedans and sports cars. I've always been satisfied with them. I've been using the LTX line for almost as long as they've been available. I'm now driving on the LTX M/S2 and as far as I can tell they'll give me at least the same mileage and the old LTX M/S did, perhaps more. Good traction in the wet and snow is a plus. Keep up the good work, Michelin!
