Beware of blow-outs in Arizona

I have learned that in Arizona, these tires, regardless of miles on them, don't last over four years if you park your truck outside. The first one blew at 54K miles, the second blew at 30K miles (actually the tread came off, the tile never lost air). Both times the tire took out the bedside of my truck causing over $3K in damage. The last tire, blew out with 11/32 tread still on it, fortunately I got the truck stopped before it blew and no damage was done to my truck. My maintainance and proper rotation was perfect.

Best on-road offroad capable tire.

The Michelin LTX M/S2 tires are the best overall tires you can buy. I almost look forward to replacing my factory tires to upgrade to these. They are so quiet on the highway while providing long wear and excellent handling. They have also proven to be quite good in sand and mud. No other tire for my family, I only trust Michelin.

Pricey but worth the price

Far from cheap for a set of 6 but these tires were just what I was looking for and just what our 2003 F350 dually needed. They look great and ride even better. They run quietly on city streets and highways. They are soft enough to absorb many bumps in the road and strong enough to trust our 5th wheel to. Their 70k tread wear warrantee was a deal maker for us.

Amazing

Outstanding and Amazing pretty much sums it up. The traction in the snow is just fantastic. I plow snow. In spots I use to get stuck in with my old stock tires is no problem with my new tires. Usually don't even spin a tire. Stopping on slippery roads is outstanding as well. I have had a few occasions on slippery roads where I almost missed a turn and had to slow down quickly. Tires grabbed like bare pavement when my old tires would have slid through the intersection. I will never own a different tire from now on. If I buy a new truck I will insist on this tire being installed as part of the deal. I alsoincreased my gas mileage by about 1 mpg.

Quiet, smooth running ...

Quiet, smooth running tire for the everyday road warrior. Thick tread, but wearing a bit faster than expected. Treadwear not a big deal for me as long as Michelin honors their warranty. Am more interested in performance (i.e. braking, handling, etc.) and these tires excel in those areas. Decent snow & ice traction for mild winter areas, better than most all-season tires out there. Off-roading is okay, but the qualities that make it comfortable on pavement do not lend itself to great off-roading. Best for hard-packed, dirt roads. Forget mudding, you will get stuck. Excellent all-around performing, all-season tire for the average joe who rarely, if ever, leaves the pavement.

May be the best tire I've owned

Replaced original equiptment tires on 2010 GMC Sierra Z71 Crew Cab after only 25,000 miles. Didn't like the way they handled or the ride. Bought LTX M/S2 and now have about 75,000 miles on them, my pickup handles well on wet roads and last week drove about 100 miles in 4-5 inch snow. Couldn't beleive traction on tires with 75,000 miles! Hope to replace tires soon, but could likely get another 20,000 miles if I had too.

Great tires, will buy another set

Michelin tires have great tread life. These tires came on my other truck when I bought it eight years ago and they are still in good shape. Tires are expensive and I don't like having to buy them every couple years. I Know these Michelin's will last a long time.I even put a Michelin on my Harley this spring.

LTX M/S

I am on my 3rd set of LTX M/S LTX M/S2 tires. I have a 99 GMC yukon & had other brand tires when I bought my truck. Changed tires right away & what a GREAT difference they have made in the ride & especially the overall wear of the tire. My husband has changed to the same tire on his truck. We will NEVER buy anything other than LTX M/S or the LTX M/S2, ever. Sincerely Della Puryfoy Morehead City,NC

An AMAZING tire for treadwear and the rest

OUTSTANDING tire by Michelin. I just turned over 97,000 miles (75% highway & 25% city combined driving) on my current Michelin LTX M/S2 tires. About to hit the perpendicular treadwear low indicator for replacement. As such, I probably won't pass vehicle inspection due in July 2015, so I'm planning ahead for a new purchase of the same tire. An excellent tire with very low noise as compared to other brands with same specifications (temperature, traction, treadwear). A superior product! Great work Michelin!!

LTX M/S2 Michelin tires, ALL the way

We live in Illinois. Bought our new LTX M/S2 Michelin Tires for our 2007 Silverado before our trip to Texas. Couldn't believe what a great ride the trip was with the new tires. Would highly recommend your tires to any one. Wife is due for a new set of tires on her car, they will for sure be Michelins
