Rate, LTX M/S2

Actually, I bought 6 of these tires for a 2005 GMC SIerra 3500 dually... I pull a 36'5th wheel, and so far they have delivered anything I could have expected out of them... Got into about 6 - 8" of snow in hunting season, and I got out of the campground with no problems.. No spinning, sliding, or stopping problems... I sure do hope I get the longevity as the previous set of Michelin's.. 70,000 miles out of a dually... NOT TOO SHABBY.... Thanks... Dennie Burrell

Great off road and Excellent Wet cond.

All tires are pretty good and handling wet road conditions the first year but the LTX M/S (2) stay that way year after year. They are great in snow and evey handle off road conditions very well. On top of that they offer a comfortable and quiet ride down the road. They are the best out there.

Marvelous tire for my SUV!

This is the second set of the Michelin LTX M/S2 I have purchased for my 2002 Chevy Tahoe. The tires that came with the vehicle got about 22,000 miles. These Michelins get about 82,000. Considering the mileage, great ride and value, I would definately replace these tires again with Michelin.

Best Tire I have ever owned

I live in the mountains and have a lot of curvey roads. The previous tires took a beating, especially the front ones. They would squell around those curves, and I felt so many times I would slide. These tires smoothes out those curves and I hear no noise coming from my tires. They have tremendous grip, and I feel so much more safer.

Awesome tire, incredible wear.

This is an amazing wearing light truck tire. Set was purchased for a 2008 Dodge 3500 Dually and it commutes atleast 10 miles of rock daily, and with already 8,500 miles on the set. Rides smooth compared to the previous set of tire that were on it. Use in livestock fields as well with no problems with traction, very satisfied with the tires.

All my vehicles now have these tires

These tires are the third set of LTX M/S tires that I have owned. My first set on my Ford Expedition lasted for over 100,000 miles. They are quiet, smooth running and provide the traction that I expect. I recommended this tire to one of my project managers for his Expedition several years ago and he ended up getting the LTX M/S2 tires. He now has over 110,000 miles on his set of tires and is getting ready to purchase another set. My new LTX M/S2 tires now have approximately 20,000 miles on them. I've had no issues and I am totally convinced that they are the best tires on the market. I also have the LTX M/S tires on my Ford Pickup. Keep up the good work, and keep making these awesome tires. I have had only Michelin ...

I have had only Michelin tires on both of my vehicles from the start. These tires provide a smooth, stable ride and make steering effortless. Probably most important is knowing, when I'm not there, my family is riding on a set of quality tires that I can trust to perform under any road conditions they might encounter.

88,000 miles on a 70,000 mile tire

Just an awesome tire. I have 88,000 miles on the LTX M/S2 and I still have them on my truck! I also had the older LTX M/S on another truck that has 84,000 miles. Sold that truck and the tires where still in decent shape. Pros; smooth ride, good gas mileage, longest lasting tire in its class, super durable, cons; to many sipes. If your hard on your tires and like to burn rubber you will mess up your tread :) sipes are good though for the average driver keeps the tire cool and makes it last longer! I beat my tires up all day long and still get 88,000 plus miles on them! Keep doing what you do best Michelin! Once you go Michelin anything else well is just a maypop. Ps: Michelin, I would really like to see the sport cups come stock on the new SRT VIPER!

What a difference in ride

I cant express how happy I am with the Michelin tires I purchased for my 2004 Silverado. I was tempted to buy some more economical tires but glad I opted for the better quality tires. The small amount I paid extra was well worth the quietness these tires are compared to the original equipment that came on my vehicle. My wet weather traction is also 100% better than my original tires. My truck has never been so smooth and quiet even when it was new.

70,000++

Since I was a young lad in my teens, I have been using Michelins. It took me a few sets of tires, being a motor head, leadfoot kid to figure out that the Michelin Tire Company had the best product. From age 17-21 I sold and installed most other brands of tires and Michelins. All during the mid to late '70s into the early '80s. This wasn't long after the introduction of the radial tires on all production cars. Other manufacturers had radials, but Michelins ruled on quality and performance without any failures. Where I worked, we never had anyone have problems with the Michelin tires. Thirty five years since those days, I have always had purchased Michelins. Co-workers at my present day work balk at the price. But after I inform them with proper maintenance completed on a set of Michelin M/S2s on a truck, I have driven over 73,000 miles, city, highaway and highly crowned bumpy country roads this last set of M/S2s have just passed the state's yearly inspection, they are flabergasted. I just tell them, drive normally, maintain the truck's suspension and tire pressure, the tires will outlast just about any other tires on the market. I also have a set of the Primacy MXV4s on my VW Jetta. Thank you Michelin for the R&D that you have put into the tires, whether they are car passinger or these M/S2s, thanks. I will be buying another set shortly. They are one of those investments that I believe you don't short change yourself due to the comfort and safety factors. Peace of mind goes a long way, 73,000+ miles...
