I have had a wide variety of tire brands in my younger, foolish years. For the past 20 years I have had nothing but Michelin LTX-M/S and couldn't be more pleased. Quiet, Great traction. Just got over 80,000 miles out of my last set and they still had approximately 25% of the tread left. The only reason I just changed them to the new LTX-M/S2 was due to an unfortunate road hazard that took out the sidewalls on 2 of them. Bought a new full set and used one of the rears as a replacement for my spare. Based on my past experience, I won't be using anything else on my trucks and SUV's. Wife loves them the quiet, smooth ride on her Grand Cherokee and they are outstanding on my Suburban. You will pay more initally for these, but to me, paying 10-20% less on a set of tires that get you only 25-35k miles just doesn't make sense.

The tires handled and rode very well and have been the best in rain that I have had. The problem is that they are now needing replacement at 30,000 miles. I drive 25,000 miles a year and I cannot afford the cost of 4 tires every year. The reason that I got them in the first place is that they had the highest expected wear. I am very disappointed with this product.

I have a vibration in the steering. Not an improper balance type vibration. Seems like excessive run out on one of the front tires. It has been there since the first time I drove it. I have not been back to the dealer yet. Expecting to "spin my wheels" while it is blamed on anything but tires. I will get it to them soon to be checked and will give them a benefit of doubt. I am holding off on replacing tires on my daughter's vehicle to see where this goes. If it is not resolved then I will not spend the extra money on Michelins.

These are my 4th set of Michelins - second set on my truck - i use these tires on my 3/4 ton pickup truck. The wet weather traction and load rating inspires confidence and the long term wear is awesome. These attributes do come at a price - but with these Michelins you do get what you pay for.

We pull a 5th wheel with our truck, so a quality tire is a must. I had purchased the LTX AT2 tire 4 years ago, but went with the LTX M/S2 when I bought this set in May. I am more than please with the ride, and how quiet Michelin tires ride. Keep manufacturing quality tires, I run Michelin tires on all my vehicles.

Going on the third set of the LTX/MS2`s on three different trucks. One Ford Ranger, and two F-150`s, all 4wheel drive. All work trucks that went from city roads to interstate to jobs sites with various soil and sand and rocky terrain. The Ranger had over 110,000 mi on the tires when I sold it and still going. The first F-150 had many miles on city, secondary, rural, sand and rock quarries along with interstate speeds and handled them all very well. I could go on and on, but have limited space for this. For me, having these tires for the last twelve+ yrs is the best investment strategy. From the mountains to the beaches and all points in between, heat, rain, snow, ice and mud. Brand names don't always cost more, but they are built better and last longer.....My vehicles will never know any other tire than Michelin. My truck uses Michelin LTX M/S 245/65-17 and out performs and outlasts my friends, family and in-laws tires on their trucks and vehicles.

There rolling resistance is great, and the braking under wet conditions is much improved from the M/S. Love them so far after 18000 miles. Waiting to see the longevity, the M/S lasted 100,000 miles for me. These are supposed to be better, we will see.

I bought these tires to replace inferiour tires that came standard on my 4runner... the MS2 have and are the best and only tires that I will have on my SUV...I have put these on my last three trucks and now my SUV, they are great with good traction in the winter as well as on wet pavement, very silent on pavment! Great tires!

We drive about 1200 miles round trip several times a year and we replaced our noisy tires with Michelin tires. Our rides are much more pleasant now. The ride is smoother and quieter. They are more expensive than other brands, but I think they are worth it.
