Great Product. Worth the expense.

I have had Michelin tires on my 2002 GMC Yukon since I can remember. This time, the model had been updated/changed to the LTX M/S2. So far, I am very pleased with the tires. The ride is smooth. I have had no quality issues. They look great on my truck. Overall, this is my brand (so long as I can afford them).

Poor Treadlife

Purchased a set of 4 LTX M/S2 (P265/65R17 110T) 04-11-15 at about twice the cost of other tires. Was impressed with purported riding comfort and tread wear promise. Mileage at installation: 26680; Mileage today: 59401; Mileage on tires: 32721. Rotated every 5000 miles; tire psi checked weekly. Tires have worn evenly, but tread is gone. Would not pass state inspection (WV) if I had to have one before spring. I doubt that I can get thru the coming winter on this set. Like other reviewers, I was willing to pay more for these tires in consideration of the riding comfort and increased tire life. I got one of the two (comfort) but am extremely disappointed in the short tread life.

We understand the LTX M/S2 tires on your vehicle did not meet your expectation in terms of mileage. A member of our Consumer Care team will be in contact with you. You may also reach our office at 1-866-866-6605.

Excellent tire

Im on my 3rd set of m/s, or ms2's on a 2005 diesel excursion. the first 2 ssets went for 50-60k miles (they had plenty left when i replaced them, but winter was coming) the set ive got now has over 60,000 miles and probably half of the tread remaining. michelin makes the best tires on the market.

Great All Season tire for New England

This has been a great tire for all seasons on my Honda Pilot. This tire has taken me through the worst blizzard I've ever driven through on the highway and never felt like it was overwhelmed. Good traction in the rain. Quiet on the highway in the dry. Overall very pleased with this tire.

Best set of tires ever bought.

I installed these tires on my 2010 Mega Cab Dodge 4x4, I travel on the road for work. I bought the truck new and it came with a different brand of tires, I would get back from travel and my ears would take a long time to clear up from the road noise. I switched to the LTX M/S2 tires and the hearing problem went away. I also like the smooth highway ride I get from these tires, the other tires were loud and rough. I have 4 trucks for work and I will use these tires on all 4. Thanks Michelin

So far So Good !!

So far so GOOD !! This is my first set of Michelin tires. Nice ride at slow or high speed. Good stopping in both dry and wet conditions. I have only been riding on them for approx. four months, and I am very satisfied with the performance of these tires. And they also look good on my Nissan truck. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a really good performing, and nice looking tire for their light truck, or SUV.

New to Michelin

I'm pretty new to Michelin, having bought my first set a few months ago for my 2001 GMC Jimmy. I've since added a set of these tires to my 2004 GMC Sierra 4wd pickup. So, I guess that says that I like what I'm seeing from the tires. I've always had a good impression of Michelin and now, thus far, I can say they definitely give a nice ride. Haven't had the occasion to drive in snow because we don't get that much. Also, I'm not going off-road, just doing town and highway driving. So, I cannot address how these LTX M/S2 tires would perform off-road. Frankly, if I used my pickup as a farm vehicle or for camping, I might be more inclined to get Michelin's all-terrain version. But, for now, let me say that I am pleased with both sets of tires and I'm hoping that I will get great mileage from them. They are, admittedly, a bit more expensive than other brands that I looked at. But, if their durability and mileage give me excellent performance, it will be worth the extra. I am confident in recommending these tires.

Wow, ride and MPG improvement!

I put four new LTX MS2 tires, in size 245/75 R16 on my '05 2wd 1500 5.3 V8 Chevrolet Suburban last summer. The improvement in ride and fuel economy was immediate. I am not lying, or exaggerating when I say, at 60 mph, on flat freeway with the cruise control on, A/C on, we average 27 mpg. Simple fact. Tested again and again, and again today. Onboard computer and calculated at the pump. Great tire. Highly recommended.

unbelievable

My chevrolet 2500HD came with 245 75 r16 I replaced them with ltx ms2 235 85 r16. I could not be more pleased. I get on I-5 at hiway 269 going north set the cruise at 70 (the speed limit) and for the next 200 miles it is as smooth as glass the only thing I feel is missing chunks of asphalt. I gained better than 10% in mileage because of a narrower tire (less friction) and a larger diameter tire (fewer revolutions per mile). my truck is heavy I have a utility box with rack on it and tools.

2nd Best set of tires

As my headline stated, these tires are the 2nd best set of tires I've had on my '03 Ram 3500 Dually 4x4 that's Cummins powered. My last set I was able to get 90K miles with regular rotations at every oil change which is between 8-10K miles. I've only got around 8K miles so far. It may be me, or not, these tires seem to do much better in the snow & ice here in AK, and they seem to be a tad bit quieter running down the road at 75 mph. My hwy mileage is up by a solid 1.5-2 mpg, to be honest I did install manual lock/unlock hubs like the old school trucks once came with. There is no doubt in my mind that when it comes time for tires for either my Ram or my '96 SS it will be Michelin Tires. They may cost a tad more, but your getting a better longer lasting tire. I'm not aware of any tire company that gives a 90K mile warranty on a HD truck tire like I have.
