Awesome tires

Not my first set of m/s. I purchase these tires for every truck I own because of the long life of the tires. Even though only rated around 60 thousand miles I have alway gotten 90-100 thousand miles and they still have usable tread left. Last truck had 200,000 miles only two sets purchased after factory tires were changed at 35,000. Got rid of truck to get something bigger, last set of tires were not even 1/2 worn. The tires do cost a lot of money especially 17" rims but worth it. This is currently my 5th set in 16 years and I have not yet had a bald or flat tire even with 100,000 miles on the tires. Traction is better then most comparable tires on mid size trucks.

When I purchased this ...

When I purchased this truck it did not have Michelin tires. There was never a doubt that the first thing I would do was to go to my dealer and have a set of Michelins put on. I would never think of purchasing any other brand you can't beat the ride or performance of these tires.

Great Tires!!!

I have been a Michelin guy since I have lived in the Dakotas. These tires are the stickiest on ice. So when I moved to California I never look at any other brand. They are quiet, sticky ,give you a comfortable ride and can't wear them out! I have the LTX M/S2 for my Lexus RX 300 and Pilot Super Sport for my C55 AMG and Cayman. These tires are just the best for your buck!

I will buy this product again and again.

I'm completely satisfied with these tires. I paid a little more than other comparable tires but these tires are going to last longer than my previous tires and the ride is more comfortable. I will purchase these tires again once I have to replace the current tires.

Had this tire installed ...

Had this tire installed back in Feb of 2010, on my 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 1/2 ton crew cab truck. Instantly saw a difference in steering ease, road grip both starting and stopping, especially when roads were wet. This is the best tire I have had on any truck I've owned, and I've used other Michelin's besides other brands. Would definitely recommend them for pick-up trucks, but I have no experience with off road use as I drive only on paved roads.

Michelins will save your life

I have been buying Michelins for all the SUVs I've owned over the last 20 years. I recently bought a used Lexus and waited a few months to replace the stock tires with the new LTX M/S2. With my new Michelins, the drive is smoother and the GX470 hugs the road. Plus its good for 70K miles People sometimes skimp on paying for tires. Good tires can be the difference in saving your life. With that aspect, a tire purchase is one of the most important decisions to make. I'll gladly spend more if it means the difference between life and death.

Fleet Operator

I have over 100 vehicles in a rural fleet; more than half of them traveling on highways and on gravel back roads. Whenever I change from another tire brand to Michelin, the drivers vocally praise the improvement in ride, handling and quietness -- they're that much better! Yeah, Michelin tires cost more, but I don't worry about the tires on our vehicles when they're Michelin. Previous "other-brand" tires have had abnormal wear patterns, frequent flats and even tread separation, loud noises (is that the tire or a bearing going bad?), and didn't handle well. But even with continuous alignment issues of more than half of our vehicles (a manufacturer design flaw), the Michelin tires wear exceptionally well and compensate beautifully. Flats are a fluke with Michelin and usually require running over something larger than a big bolt -- flats just aren't common with Michelin, period. And forget about tread separation! It doesn't happen. And the Michelins are very smooth and quiet -- and handle well in just about any weather condition. They are worth the extra money -- even when I buy about 200 tires per year! I won't buy anything but Michelin now and my drivers are quite happy about that.

Great Product

I have a 2001 Tacoma 4x4. I drive a 50/50 mix of highway and city. I replaced my oem tires in 2007 and 6 years and 90,000 miles later I think it is time for so freash tires. I also replaced my wifes oem tires on her highlander, when it was still under warrenty and would get replacement tires for free. I went and put a set of Michelin tires on it and road noise and performance is 100% better. Cant say enough good things about there products.

Good tire for the price

I use this product on a 4x2 truck that I occasionally tow and haul items around in. The tires that came on this truck when I got it were another brand that wore really fast. I chose the LTX M/S2 tires for their longer tread life and the reasonable costs with a great warranty from a trusted company. So far the tread is still looking new and am very pleased with my purchase. They grip well in wet and dry and breaking isn't a problem. My only complaint is they are a little louder then the previous tires, but this is probably because they are a longer lasting tread design, thus I am more then happy to live with it.

LTX MS2 on a Ford Super Duty

I drive a 2009 Ford F250 rear wheel drive truck. I use the truck as a daily commuting vehicle and to tow a 9000 pound travel trailer during camping season. I wanted a tire that would be smooth and quiet with low rolling resistance for daily drive, good traction for New England winter driving, and a long tread life. So far after almost 11 months including one winter with several snow storms these tires have been great! They have lived up to my (very high) expectations. They have been quiet and smooth for a heavy duty truck and E load rating.
