Only tire I buy for my SUV

The reality is that most of us do not spend 99% of our time off road. Most of my time is spent on pavement, where these tires excel (handling, wet traction, braking, ride comfort), and are also more than capable for the amount of off road adventures that we normally put our SUVs through. I have put LTXs on every SUV that I have ever owned and have never been disappointed with their performance or how they literally improved the handling characteristic of my vehicle. Truck On Michelin Man!

Rated #1 in My Book

I've just installed my 2nd set of LTX M/S ( now M/S2 ) on my 2004 Chevorlet HD2500 4X4. The difference between the factory tires and the Michelin's were like night and day! I got 74,000 miles out of my last set! Yippee ! Traction? wet or dry was excellent. My truck has always felt like it was glued to the road. Fuel Efficiency? Excellent! City/12.5 - Highway/14.8 which is unheard of in a truck of this size with a 6.0 liter engine. Ride? Made several cross country trips, not only was the ride smooth but i felt confident as well. Cost? A little high for the average Joe like me but my Dad always said, " Son, you get what you pay for " I know now my Dad was right. Thanks Michelin for your research and development for such a great product and helping me keep my family safe with such a dependable and reliable product. My hats off to you Michelin! Thanks again. I love these tires

I currently run 3 sets of these large tires and I actually run 285's they are bigger and suit my needs on my heavy duty trucks. i have been using these tires for over 20 years. they cost a few more bucks but I know we are safe. i have triplett little girls so all my vehicles(all 6) run Michelins. I have smaller LTX MS2 265's on my other cars--thanks for asking

Awesome Ride !

We purchased these tires for our Yukon. We think they are great tires. We put them to the test right away by driving to the mountains which is 1000 miles round trip . The ride was smooth and very enjoyable. We have NO regrets with our purchase and would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Michelin!

not as smooth as the other two sets

This is my 3rd set of these tires and they are in use on same car. I have used michelin tires since 2003 but these new tires have a bumpy feel. The retailer says they can't find anything wrong but I can tell from years of using this same brand that something is wrong with one of the rear tires. The car shakes and the ride is not pleasant. Don't know if the quality has decreased. I hope the retailer will find the problem because I can't believe there is a better tire than Michelin.

These tires are top of the line!

I put these new tires on my 08 Honda Element and instantly felt they enhanced my driving in the mountains. Despite rain or shine, snow or ice, i feel confident driving my vehicle in switchbacks of the Rocky Mountains. They raise my vehicle up a bit higher than the factory tires which is also nice. I would buy them again and recommend them to anyone looking for an suv tire that will last and handle all conditions well. My wife and I take many road trips across the midwest and these tires have met all our expectations in different conditions.

Great Tires

The tires on my 2008 Chevy Silverado were low on tread and I had a long trip planned. Arizona to Florida and back. So I started checking on new tires. I honed in on two or three brands, Michelin included. After all the dust settled, Michelin was by far the best value. So far they have been terrific. I go off road occasionally and they have performed well. Much quieter ride than the originals. I'm sold on Michelin.

CAN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THIS!

I BOUGHT THESE TIRES (JUNE 2013) BECAUSE OF THE QUALITY AND THE EXPERIENCE I'VE HAD WITH OTHER MICHELIN TIRES. ONE RECENT EXPERIENCE (AUG.2013) I HAD WAS TO DRIVE 500 MILES IN A DRIVING RAIN STORM THROUGH KENTUCKY AND THE SMOKEY MOUNTAINS. NO SLIPPAGE OR HYDROPLANING AT ANY TIME. I FELT VERY COMFORTABLE THE WHOLE WAY. NOW THAT'S A TIRE! I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW MANY MILES I WILL GET, BUT, IF THESE ARE ANYTHING LIKE THE OTHER MICHELINS I'VE OWNED, PROBABLY 70,000-80,000 MILES.

like riding on a cloud

Driving on these tires are like driving on a cloud. I was hesitant about spending the extra money but the old saying you get what you pay for. my Tahoe was sounding like it was 20 years old with the other tires on. now this Tahoe rides like no other. it handles excellent in rain and snow. Did I forget to mention it is my wife's Tahoe and BTW she loves me again.

Great tire!

I bought these for my wife's Suburban after previously having a set on a Seqouia. I don't think I'll ever buy another brand again. They ride smooth and road noise is minimal. They do well in the snow and slush of Northern Indiana and seem to be wearing well. They are a little more expensive than most, but you definitely get what you pay for!
