These buns were fresh and very tasteful. The only problem we had with them is that they were not easy to open up for the hot dog. We had about 400+ hot dogs to process and this really slowed us up and there were many torn buns that were not usuable.

This was a good price but the buns could have been a little fresher. The date was fine but maybe the bag was not properly sealed. Microwave took care of this so they were still delicious as are most Sara Lee products.

I purchased both restaurant hamburger buns and the hot dog buns for a reunion I was catering. When I picked them up, I noticed about 4 of the hamburger packages had some dark spots on the buns. When it was time to serve the reunion, we decided to not use the ones with dark spots as they didn't appear to look fresh.

My order was placed for pick-up. Whoever shopped for my items sent me there buns with a dime size hole in the bag. I didn't notice right away. 2 days later, all the buns were hard %26 tough. I ended up throwing them away. The $4 wasn't worth the gas to return them. Check that that your package isn't damaged.

Didn't stay soft and fresh long, though it was never that soft/ fresh to begin with. Also, when using the bread to support my hot dogs, they would completely split in two, even with the slightest opening. I don't think I'll buy this large bag again, regardless of the savings for doing so... it's not worth the freshness and enjoyment. I could get better satisfaction from the use of a fresh loaf of bread vs the buns.

I find these buns to not be top notch, but they are way above the quality of the Wal-Mart hot dog buns. I would say they are a good value for the money, taste really good, are soft but can’t compete with the buns that are $4.49 for 8, but that’s to be expected.

Put this bread in the freezer as soon as I got home, defrosted the bread in the refrigerator a few days later and noticed the bread was molded. It was still extremely soft though. Would only recommend this bread to be used within the first three to four days after purchase.

Hot Dogs were a big hit! We had a block party and everyone loved the way I prepared and served them. People kept coming back for more asking where did I get em? And could they get em? Although I kinda wanted to keep it a secret. As well as my recipes I let them know Sams Club! That's all i have to say about that!

We buy for our concession business so we’re buying 8-15 pks at a time. The quality is a 3 due to most buns not cut properly or partially cut, most are a bit dried out, most are damaged in some way. I don’t know which is worse. The damage to the buns range from the factory over baking then they’re shipped 2 high so the bottom buns are flattened and finally I have to sort through 20-30 pkgs to find 10 that meet my quality standards. I nuke ea bun 8 sec before serving to try and moisten them up a bit otherwise they are just too dry. They seem to be 3-5 days old before they hit the store. Ugh!
