Easily the WORST example of a hot dog bun I have ever purchased. Of 16 Hot Dog buns, 3 were completely sliced through, so they were more like long hamburger buns. 2 were scored about 1/4" deep and had to be torn to open up further, 3 were partially cut about half of the bun was sliced properly while the other half had to be torn open. The remaining 8 were functional, a few had slices that weren't centered on the bun, but they were at least sliced properly. The bread itself was fluffy and adequately moist, but I wasn't buying bread loaves, I was buying hot dog buns. The local supermarket sells their house brand buns at better pricing, and has never disappointed me like these did. taste ok but not usable the buns are cut so 90 percent bun on top and 10 on bottom and you can't open them without destroying and if your do you can't put a hot dog in without it rolling ripping apart. it's like they were second quality buns that didn't pass quantity control so they sold them to sams at a discount. cheap is great but if not usable what good is it

Soft and get the job done but they taste very similar to the generic great value brand.
