I bought this rain barrel and it was cheaper then I thought it was. The additional cost to hook up my drainage and down spont was another 60.00. Looks good now that it all set up

Be very careful when shopping. Look at different colors and you might switch barrel sizes. I was reordering more barrels and the page somehow switched from 50 gallon units to 40 gallon units which I had to return.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had experience with this brand in the past and wanted to stick with it. We are seeking to link together several rain barrels to capture and save water. These are designed for that.

I don't like that it came from China that wasn't clearly written on it. And inside it had a this piece contains lead toxins. That wasn't written anywhere either. I mean I'm watering my vegetable garden do I really want to put lead on it.

Love it, catches my rain water. I use it to water plants. Bought 2 more at our local club and have a hose hooked up to it. When it rains goes right in my in ground pool. Don’t have to take water out of my well.

Good working rain barrel. I skipped using the screened hole in the top for a hose and bulkhead. Also, I added a spigot to the side about bucket height. It had the spot for one, so I just drilled a hole and added it. Working well for me so far.

These are great rain barrels and very sturdy. My only issue is the price, however I have found you get what you pay for. We have 6 of these installed and no issues to date.

Love the look but I have a steel roof and it couldn't handle the amount of water coming off into the barrel. I had it hooked directly to the down spout and left the spigot open to help drain excess but it drains so slow it didn't help.

I bought two of these a few weeks ago. Installed both of them next to each other and linked them together. They hold water fine. Disappointed that the front overflow holes are an inch lower than the port on the back that's used to link the two barrels together. This causes the majority of the water to pour through the front overflow holes rather than into the adjoining barrel. I've had them installed and am unable to return them at this point. If I could I would definitely return them. If you're only needing one barrel I don't see any issues from that. The plastic is a little thin where the valve threads in but it seems to be holding water so far.
