I have both a good sit in and good sit on. Grandchildren coming so needed one more so everyone could have their own. The reviews on line for this one were sort of all over the place. But overall it seemed folks would buy it again. I was able to have it sent directly to my local Walmart and it arrived before the promised date. No damage or problems at all (which some reviews spoke to having). I was actually able to get it in my Murano although the front touched the dash. But as single woman, love to be able to get it myself. Got it in the water, and it is sweet. I used one of my good paddles as think paddle not the best, but probably ok. Had a little trouble, out on the water, getting the seat to sit up more, but I accomplished. Took it for a spin and because it is flat and light, it went right over some rather shallow places. i was happy with that. Overall, love it and will probably use it myself over the much more expensive, and heavy to get down to lake ones.

I recently had lost the attachment that holds the shock cord in place on my kayak. When I contacted the customer service dept, they were quick to reply and notify me that, they located the replacement part and would be mailing it to me FREE of charge! Thankful that there are still some companies that will stand behind their products! Great job lifetime.

Returned because the kayak in the photos is not the same as was received. The one I picked up did not have a handle on the side, the seat was a hard molded seat with a flimsy metal hinge attaching it to the kayak, and the molding was/shape was different. The paperwork was all correct, it had a "lotus" sticker on it. Disappointed.

Easy for us to put in the truck bed (with ends sticking out) and carry down to the water together. Comfortable to sit in. Not super stream-lined, but still fun for paddling around the lake. Paddles come apart and snap together easily, but they are black, so the poles get hot in the sun. The pole are also a little slippery when wet. We will get gloves for next time, so that won’t be a problem. I’m glad we bought them.

We bought 6 of your kayaks (4 smaller and 2 larger) almost 10 years ago for our children and grandchildren to use on our pond. They have been used and sometimes abused, but still look new and shinny! Without a doubt your customer support is top notch.... when one of the grandkids unscrewed the plugs... one quick phone call and you had replacement plugs in the mail to us! [Employee of walmartcanada] Great kayak , sturdy and stable . Its the perfect size i am 6 feet tall and i sit comfortably . Biggest advantage of this kayak is it fits in to my car so there is no hassle of purchasing rooftop rack and spending time on securing it. I drive Mazda cx 5 which is 8.5 feet inside . Also due to flat back its very convenient to store upright in garage . It also came with high quality paddle . It was a bit frustrating to wait 10 days for delivery but it was well worth it at the end , I wish it also came in orage color which is easy to spot from far on water for safety and visibility .

We have 2 of these Lotus's and they are very durable, and surprisingly stable for the type of boat. We recently needed a replacement seat and the service when ordering the part was very good.

The backrest are pretty cheap. The plastics is rather thin. For this price i was expecting a stronger plastic. The kayak is not bad on the water, work as expected but for how long? I hope the backrest are stronger than they look.

Good for a fun paddle on a still pond, but useless in open water. I will be returning this. No keel - this vessel cannot move straight when you paddle.

I bought a month ago and taken it out 5 or 6 times . Love it! We added extra handles to make easier to carry and a padded seat for comfort. Perfect for one person to handle.
