Easy for us to put in the truck bed (with ends sticking out) and carry down to the water together. Comfortable to sit in. Not super stream-lined, but still fun for paddling around the lake. Paddles come apart and snap together easily, but they are black, so the poles get hot in the sun. The pole are also a little slippery when wet. We will get gloves for next time, so that won’t be a problem. I’m glad we bought them.

I love the fact that I can carry it and load it into the back of my Explorer by myself. Do wish there was some sort of hand grip for carrying, I'm working on that before next trip. I noticed I had to paddle a little more than those in the sit-in style Kayak, but guess that's expected with the flatter bottom. We did a 5 hour Buffalo River float, the back rest (which can be adjusted) and seating was quiet comfortable. Can't wait to take it out again.

I bought this kayak because I am 5'2" and wanted something small enough that i could load on top of my car roof rack by myself (I'm a 66 y.o. woman). I read all the reviews and have found them to be right on. It tracks well for a relatively short kayak and is very stable. It is for flat water , which is all I wanted and I have no complaints. Lots of you tube videos show different ways to load a kayak. I found the best one for me and I'm happy with my purchase.

I received this kayak three years ago as a gift and I have had so much fun with it! It is incredibly stable (my grandchildren climb off and on it with me and it barely rocks), tracks nicely on our lake and has all the features I wanted for flat water. The customer service from Lifetime has been exemplary. I have only had two issues in three years - the front handle broke and the drain plug tether broke resulting in the loss of the drain plug. Both times it was easy to contact Lifetime and they quickly sent me replacements and their agents were very pleasant. I also purchased Lifetime children's kayaks for my grandchildren from which they have received many hours of entertainment.

Most of the other reviewers were right on target with their reviews of this yak. I have other kayaks and was looking for an inexpensive one to get less experienced members of my family out on the water. The kayak is much more stable than my sit-in yaks. When you first take to the water if you try to lean right and left you will easily feel that there is very little chance of it tipping. My wife went out in a 15-20 mph wind and although the wind made her drift it didn't make her nervous as to possibly tipping. It would certainly be better if it came with a handle in the back as it has in the front. It came with an adjustable backrest which is very comfortable and lightweight break-down paddle. It also comes with one foam plug. However, there are five holes through the hull and unless you want to sit in a puddle of water you'll need to buy plugs for the other four holes. I made plugs out of wine corks and this worked fine. Overall a nice beginner kayak that you are not going to win any speed races in, but, if you're just looking to get someone in the family out in fairly calm waters, then you can't beat it.

[Employee of walmartcanada] Great kayak , sturdy and stable . Its the perfect size i am 6 feet tall and i sit comfortably . Biggest advantage of this kayak is it fits in to my car so there is no hassle of purchasing rooftop rack and spending time on securing it. I drive Mazda cx 5 which is 8.5 feet inside . Also due to flat back its very convenient to store upright in garage . It also came with high quality paddle . It was a bit frustrating to wait 10 days for delivery but it was well worth it at the end , I wish it also came in orage color which is easy to spot from far on water for safety and visibility .

Very stable and sturdy, perfect for recreational use on a calm river. It's not a fast kayak but it maneuvers easily. Perfect size and light enough for me to place it in my compact car by myself.

We have 2 of these Lotus's and they are very durable, and surprisingly stable for the type of boat. We recently needed a replacement seat and the service when ordering the part was very good.

The backrest are pretty cheap. The plastics is rather thin. For this price i was expecting a stronger plastic. The kayak is not bad on the water, work as expected but for how long? I hope the backrest are stronger than they look.

Very stable kayak. My 11 yr old and her friends love them. We had 1 missing part on our order. I contacted Lifetime and they resolved the issue immediately.
