I bought a similar model at Sam's Club and a couple months later wanted another because so many people were interested and didn't want to keep borrowing my friend's, who also purchased one at Sam's. They fixed all the flaws in the one we bought, and added a handle and a comfy back rest. The cooler holder (beer hold) is bigger and nicer. The first model we purchased was the Monterey and very happy with both :) I have recommended to others to purchase this. It is well worth it. I live in SW Florida and have seen lots of things our boat can't get to. Love it!

Pros: This is a nice sit on top Kayak.. It works well, and is stable. I've had it out on the lake in some slighly choppy waves and never felt that is was going to flip. Cons: You get sore setting on the hard plastic seat. I fixed this with some foam rubber. The kayak arrived 5 days later then expected but, I do live in the middle of no where. When it arrived it had been damaged and had a small hole in it. I didn't want to send it back and wait for a replacement so I fixed it with some JB Weld. I recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a Kayak of this type.

Over Thanksgiving, I purchased 5 kayaks from another store.....actually, two different stores! On the way home, I passed the Lifetime store and saw they were a lot cheaper. I went into the store and purchased 5 of your kayaks.......then spent another hour returning the first ones I bought. We actually put two different kayaks in the pool and tried them out. The Lotus handles extremely well and the price was great. Thanks Lifetime!

This boat is sturdy, easy to use and well balanced. It is simple to get on and off of while in the water, which makes it a decent swim platform, as well as boat. The width (which is the reason it is so well balanced) does slow it down a bit. If you want a boat to race, this is not the one. However, if you want something that is reliable, easy to paddle for hours and light enough to toss in the back of the truck, this is exactly the boat you need.

I bought this kayaks on a whim. And I'm thankful I did because it has provided a tremendous sense of peace in my life. I now have 3 of these kayaks to share the experience with family and friends. These kayaks are easy to lift to get in and out of the water. They fit perfectly inside my vehicle and are sturdy and glide perfectly in the water. I have taken my kayaks through ponds, rivers, and intercoastal waterways. And have seen bald eagles, dolphins and rainbows. I will never buy another brand of kayak ever. I bought this Kayak to add to our growing fleet of Lifetime Kayaks (this is number 3). We needed a kayak for my wife to use when we took kids to the lake. This kayak is perfect. It is very stable even when waves from boats catch you off guard. It is very light and easy to put on top of the van or even inside the van. I have had my kids paddle this kayak and it is easy to control. The kayak has ample space behind the seat to fit a small cooler or a fishing crate. We have also put a couple kids on this when paddling around the lake it felt very safe.

I love the product and found ith kayhak easy to use. A Great value for family fun, could not have asked for a better item. The adjustable back brace is wonderful, helps with on a long trip. Would recommend to all friends and family.

I bought the kayak last Monday July 2nd. Take it out on Eagle Island State Park 2 times. The seat now keeps pop out didn’t stay in anymore. The kayak is very nice just the seat need to improve.

we recently moved to Utah and got a few since we were so close to the Lake and a few ponds. These are lightweight and stack and store easy. We love them.

I LOVE this kayak. It was my first one. I took it out on Lake Michigan the first day. It is not a "typical' kayak. You ride on top. It was perfect for me, so I can tan my legs while on the water. It is the perfect weight for me to handle by myself.
