Bought this cake for my daughter's birthday. She likes fruit and vanilla cake so thought we would try it. Seriously…. This was the BEST tasting cake I have ever purchased at Sam's Club. This Chantilly cake is so delicious and decadent. The sponge cake is tender and moist. The cake icing is just right, and not too sweet. Don't sleep on this cake! It is the perfect balance if you enjoy cakes that aren't sickening sweet.

Was looking foward to this for Easter, I picked up through curb woth thectest of my order. when i got it home the berries smelled fermented, that means they were not fresh, so i had to take off the berries on it and purchase fresh berries to fix it. Had I known I would have baked dessert myself.

The cake was incredibly moist, and the Chantilly cream was light and perfectly balanced—not too sweet. Light & wonderful flavor! The cake was a big hit with our group. We hoped it would at least be decent, but it definitely surpassed our expectations. We went back & purchased the cake another time & not for a special occasion, but simply because it was so good we wanted some all to ourselves.

I purchased this item at this location. I have purchased the same item at the Houston location. This itime the cake was not like my previous ones. The taste was not the same and it only had strawberries. The picture has blueberries and Strawberries. My previous purchases came with both berries. I was not satisfied with my last purchase of this cake.

It's still great and a good value, but I believe it's a little narrow-er than at last purchase, the real pain is the packaging: If/when you ever get IN, good luck getting it re-sealed. Am probably missing the obvious but I can't get the wretched thing re-sealed, which lead to premature drying and staleness.

Disappointed. The cake and fruit is generally fresh, if a little dry. But is with this gross, white, “frosting “? It’s terrible. No flavor, super silky texture. The old frosting was waaaaay better. After a couple try’s I’ll stick to Publix for a delicious cake.
