Walmart mishandled the delay very and assembly pr.

The sofa parts were delivered to my doorstep instead of inside my home. A third party which was supposed to assemble said they would not carry inside. Being a single woman, I could not carry it inside and had to pay to move it to where it was supposed to be assembled. I called Walmart and complained since the order was placed with Walmart and 3rd party was selected by Walmart. They said they would refund the assembly fee. They never did.

This product is not worth the money. It’s picture is deceiving as it does not show that when unfolded yet are literally laying in the floor. That’s fine for a teen but I’m 68 and struggled to get up. Although I’m still paying on it I ended up giving it to my son as he set it up in my grandsons room.

AWFUL!!! Do NOT use!

I do not recommend the add on service from Walmart. They use a company called Angi. First they scheduled their own time, which didn’t work for us so we selected a different time. Then they rescheduled us two times. Today that person came to “assemble” our sofa couch. She was here for two hours. I heard some drilling. Then she came to tell me this is not a one person job so she will let Angi know to figure out how to reschedule. As soon as she left, I go to see how much work she did. To my surprise, everything was put back in the box. She did nothing.

I received my living room set 6 days ago %26 paid 89 dollars extra to get it assembled. My set is still sitting in my house in boxes for 6 days now. Not a good look, paying extra to get it assemble for what to sit there still In boxes 6 days later. Reached out and was supposed to get and reply in 48 hours, no response still. Very unacceptable! 89 extra dollars for what???

I ordered the assembly service with the understanding that they would contact me to schedule a date and time. However, I just received an email with the date and time they planned on coming without confirming it with me at all. The date was 5 days before the item to be assembled was even going to be shipped! Also the $89 assembly fee was charged to my card immediately!! When I tried to cancel the order, they kept trying to reschedule to another date! The Angi service thru Walmart who claims is so simple and convenient is anything but that!! I will never try using them again!!

PERSON FROM Angie's,did not show up to assemble the furniture.Not only that,but they never even called to say they could'nt keep the appointment.I payed my neighbor forty dollars to house sit,so that the person could get in to do the work.I am so dissapointed that I paid out Forty dollars for nothing.I started a return on the furniture.I called the store to start a return. I paid one of my teenage neighbors,Ten dollars to put the heavy box on the front porch,so Fed-X could pick it up.Now I must call Angie,to ask for my Eighty-nine dollars assembly fee.I think the store I purchased it from,should be responsible for returning my money,since the fee was encluded along with the price of the chair.All of these hoops,I must jump through,because someone didn't go to work,like they were suppose to do.I need a remodel of my guest bathroom downstairs, but I have been putting it off,because I dont want to have to deal with lazy people who don't want to do their job.I am so over trying to get good service from companies.They SUCK.

If I could give a negative star count it would be negative 100.... The person that was supposed to do my service say that they showed up to my place and I went outside even walk to the parking lot and there was no one there. they also said they completed my service and they didn't do anything. When I called the people they tried calling them several times and the person didn't even answer. they told me the next time I could get somebody for them to reschedule would be for Sunday why does 4 days away Is beyond me but I WOULD NEVER USE THIS SERVICE AGAIN. I'M WAITING ON MY FULL REFUND BECAUSE IF I GET HALF MY REFUND FOR SOMEBODY WHO LIED AND DIDN'T ANSWER THE PHONE WHEN THE ACTUAL SERVICE PEOPLE CALLED THEM TO SEE IF THEY COMPLETED THE JOB I'M GOING TO FIND SOME OTHER KIND OF ACTION TO SUE.

I purchased the professional install service that Walmart offers. Mine was $98.00. I thought that was a great deal to pay a person to come put it together. Mostly if he agreed to that price. This guy was so sweet and did such a wonderful job. I wanted to tip him above the $98.00. I was being nosey and asked him how much he was paid for this job. $30.00!!!! 2-1/2 hours of manual labor for $30.00! We got to talking and the job he was assigned to before me took 6 hours the client paid over $750.00 and he received around $200.00. This made me so upset. I paid him $100.00 extra because that is what I agreed to pay HIM. But how many other people do these jobs and are barely surviving and we think we are paying them and it’s going into someone else’s pockets. So sad. How many customers know that only a quarter of the profit is given the person who did the work? He had no clue how much I paid which is even worse. Lying to these guys to turn a profit. This is wrong. This is very wrong.
