He arrived a day early which was excellent because I really wanted the sofa assembly. Infact the same day he assembled the sofa was the so called same day they claimed to deliver the last completing item(storage ottoman) he is my witness this item never arrived because he never opened a box containing such item delivered on the day of assembly.

My review is not a reflection of the service; it’s a reflection of the cancellation policy. The shipper delayed my delivery by 24hrs. The service cancellation time is also 24hrs. Because I did not find out my shipment was going to be delayed with Anji’s 24hr cancellation window, I ended up paying for installation services I did not receive. Next time, I won’t purchase installation services with my purchase. I’ll buy it separately from another provider.

I ordered the assembly service with the understanding that they would contact me to schedule a date and time. However, I just received an email with the date and time they planned on coming without confirming it with me at all. The date was 5 days before the item to be assembled was even going to be shipped! Also the $89 assembly fee was charged to my card immediately!! When I tried to cancel the order, they kept trying to reschedule to another date! The Angi service thru Walmart who claims is so simple and convenient is anything but that!! I will never try using them again!!

Angie list assembler gets an F rating

Walmart uses Angie list, now Angie, as a service provider for assembly of products. This assembler person received an F. We had a storm here so I contacted him through Angie an hour before he was to arrive suggesting that he might want to reschedule and that I would understand that but please contact me and I gave my phone number. I heard nothing and he didn’t show. I would’ve given this just a zero or one rating for him, but I gave it a two because Angie did finally resolve it and supposedly refunded my money which I’m still waiting for. So I gave it a to however, the Angie site is not an easy one to get through their bot chats and initial supposed person tech person. I finally resorted to calling them on their phone number. And I got some action however it took me a total of an hour and a half. That’s not good service.

Dad and son were great, friendly, proficient, made me feel comfortable and new what they were doing.. to get sofa in house, unfortunately, they had to remove my door, yes I was wary, but they enthused confidence and put the doors back better than first installed. Con, didn't call b/4 coming, they text to my land line, I don't text and my land line won't/doesn't accept text, but we also worked that out.. great guys!!!

The person from Angie's,did not show up or call.

PERSON FROM Angie's,did not show up to assemble the furniture.Not only that,but they never even called to say they could'nt keep the appointment.I payed my neighbor forty dollars to house sit,so that the person could get in to do the work.I am so dissapointed that I paid out Forty dollars for nothing.I started a return on the furniture.I called the store to start a return. I paid one of my teenage neighbors,Ten dollars to put the heavy box on the front porch,so Fed-X could pick it up.Now I must call Angie,to ask for my Eighty-nine dollars assembly fee.I think the store I purchased it from,should be responsible for returning my money,since the fee was encluded along with the price of the chair.All of these hoops,I must jump through,because someone didn't go to work,like they were suppose to do.I need a remodel of my guest bathroom downstairs, but I have been putting it off,because I dont want to have to deal with lazy people who don't want to do their job.I am so over trying to get good service from companies.They SUCK.
